I agree that the first movie will probably be about Thanos laying waste on Earth and collecting the gems. Would be a waste to have him appear AND lose in the same movie (Ultron says hi)

Then the final movie can be about everyone still standing going against Infinity Thanos

haha so true, CW could have been a 3rd Avengers film, but then what would 3rd Cap film be about? I saw CW already, so it is possible to remove some characters and leave it just about Bucky and Cap, but the plot would be thin if you know who else it affected.

Not sure how true it is, but supposedly she'll have minor role in GotG2. So maybe not Madame Web. I don't think Spiderverse saga can occur in MCU so soon. Cause they would have to add Gwen, Miles, Ben, etc and it's too soon. They need to squeeze some mileage from Holland's Spidey before they star expanding into other direction.

Also, I was wondering if Mods and Sexy Soul would be willing to create a separate thread for general MCU/Marvel/Fox/Sony/etc news or if such a thread needs to exist. I feel like some Marvel news which have no ties to any specific movie get lost in other threads.

We have a general entertainment thread. I tend to post the MCU news in the next Avengers film thread and DCCU news in the JL thread because it seems more people pay attention to it in those places.

Teams Won't be Split between Films, Complicated

When outlining [Infinity War], we certainly had those conversations. In the same way that in Civil War, not everyone has the same amount of scenes or lines. I think that you can assume that with so many characters [in Infinity War], we'll have to be as rigorous. Certain characters will have larger stories and others will have smaller stories and hopefully they can flip in some cases - I know a few right off the top of my head, that have a small part [in one movie] and a bigger part [in the other movie]. The people in the background in one, might come to the foreground in the other. There are moments where every damn person who's still alive will be in the same room and [those scenes] are just a nightmare to write because Marvel is very good about hiring good actors. It's like the 15th person in the scene has two Oscars. So, yeah, it's crazy.

They've proven that they can handle a big cast with Civil War. But I'm just a little worried as Infinity Gauntlet is a LARGE cast. If they can pull this off, it bodes well for the next Marvel Saga whatever that may be.
