Piano

So I'm looking into picking up a starter piano. Not looking to spend to much over $500-600 on the first one.


I know almost nothing about pianos, I only play the guitar and trumpet and I've owned mine for over 15 years so kinda out of the loop here. Asking around for some info most likely a digital one I'm looking for, as space is a concern. Thus the tech section.

To put it bluntly, I would go and just get a 100$ keyboard from amazon or somewhere and learn on that (really dont even need 88 keys).
Or just look on Craigslist and see one of the hundred "free piano if you can get it out".

You wont be able to really appreciate the sound of the various pianos until you get real good, so I wouldnt bother dropping that kind of money until further down the line.

Craigslist. Bought a $500 keyboard for $100 about a year ago.
