Aether data center. I want to say they're decent, though Adder seems to be the strongest of the three here, with Maelstrom and Flames fighting for second. My FC is Flames though, and I queue with FC mates a lot, so switching isn't really much of an option.

That's more of a recent thing and only as long as Slaughter has been out in my experience. Dunno what happened to Adders recently, though. I'm like no joke sincerely hoping you guys get some of our bads to equalize everything out.

Maelstrom is extremely bi-polar on wins but a lot of the good people don't play for long periods of time because we get so discouraged at how poorly a lot of people play. It wouldn't be an issue if people wanted to be taught how to be better but either people just flat out won't listen or you'll have bads barking out terrible tactics and new people thinking that's how you play causing a neverending cycle of terrible.

I don't think we have any prominent pre-mades at all (or if we do, I don't know about them). I started the game as Flames and only switched for the Limsa Allied Seal glamour gear. If it wasn't for the fact that I started a Maelstrom based LS, I probably would've abandoned ship long ago. I also probably should recruit again because I don't have enough regulars that actually play to make any type of significant influence.

I'm on Aether Flames also, the biggest pre-made I make (rarely) is a party of two, and my lifetime FL stats (263 matches) are 46% 1st, 32% 2nd, 20% 3rd. I doubt my singular presence is making that much of a difference, so I'm inclined to think Flames is #1 in this server group.

correct. protect grants zero bonus to any type of defense. it is only good for being an extra shield for dispel type effects, so it's still worth casting in the beginning.

It is also effective against drone/node AoE, is it not? That's not worthless if you're on B (or in Slaughter).

Adders destroy Flames on average when they're not running their faceroll premades. I avoid premades and just stop queuing when they start popping up and have ~45% first place rate since I joined Adders.

Well, my win rate above includes Adder and Storm premades, as the only thing that makes me stop queueing is wait times (or if I finish my weekly tomes/challenge log). If you intentionally stop queueing when opponents are running premades, your win rate will naturally be higher.

I wasn't even aware the other two run premades - Adders never seem to, and I think I've noticed a premade presence on Maelstrom about once. Flames however run them all of the time... and naturally that stops me queueing, since I want to play PvP with skill and not just get zerged down by faceroll premades!

Those "faceroll premades" are the true measure of PvP skill: group coordination.
