yeah i really wanted to finish slaughterhouse 4 and 5 as soon as i saw them as achievements but by now it's getting pretty boring and repetitive. and i already detest frontlines as it is. yesterday i had a couple queues pop and i just stared at them for a few seconds before declining. the new mode really needs a 24 man only option.
First time with Battle Fever, jfc it's ridiculous
Battle Fever on a caster is so ridiculous. Back to back LBs pretty much...
If a healer can somehow get Battle Fever, is it basically team invincibility?
It's just increased damage, according to the patch notes. I don't see how that would help at all (unless "increased damage" happens to apply to heals).
So you've definitely hit 1000 kills by now, eh Tobi?
Will do :D forgot to check thread every now and then between queues lol
Pretty sure it's a straight Damage Increase as I don't think it shows under your stat screen?
If it's implemented as a WDMG buff, it would essentially have the same effect.
Only one way to know for sure...
yeah, always seemed like a straight damage increase, same applies to outer nodes as well, IIRC. Also, the joy of dying each time one kill before your streak starts happeningHopefully adders are still going strong once I'm done with coil.
I pretty much gave up on Slaughter until they make some changes. Did some Secure's last night and had way more fun. Only problem is that people started bringing BLM firing squads to Secure. Not an issue if you're with people who know what they're doing since they go down fast but playing with people who don't, they can wreak havoc.
Also here's that video of the 23 kill streak. Only worth uploading to me because I did it without a pre-made.
getting so sick and tired of healers who think casting regen on me when i have 1 HP is the way to cure me. literally had my two whms cast regen on me with 1% hp left. had another couple healers yesterday just stare at me as two plds paper cut me to death while i'm on a 20+ kill streak. woulda gone for 30 easily that one.
^ In their defense, you don't always have Swiftcast or bene up, and if you have 1% hp, you're dead long before that heal ever hits you. I've lost plenty of people who died after a HoT was applied, and I've lost far more to them dying when my cure was at 70% cast bar. It is what it is.
after never having played caster at all in any capacity, i unlocked my SMN abilities and bought a bunch of i90 stuff to try it out in slaughter. had a few matches hitting 20ish kills, and i barely know how to play the job. caster LB + 1-2 other people to coordinate with is so massively overpowering it's ridiculous, lol.
glad i'll have a day to waste on enjoying this while it lasts courtesy of this horrible blizzard. hopefully my power stays on tomorrow!
