D: I did say I was gonna switch back to maelstrom again for 15 days, lol. I plan to switch between adder and maelstrom every 15 days for some form of variety, I'll never touch flames though. Despite Maelstrom being my orignal and longest GC I PvP'd with, I still highly enjoy being with adders.
Though, part of me does want to switch to flames for 15 days just to see how bad it is to pvp with them lol, that and I want all the GC ponies
On a side note, I thought the achievement for ADS mount counted for all 3 GCs total, but apparently you have to get 200 in one GC according to a few friends who switched. I guess mine popped on adder because I already had 200 wins from maelstrom.
true, you did, can't hate on that
OR I CAN
also yeah it seems like flames is a complete wasteland. had one of the better players switch over to adders today. i think epedemik probably coming back too i heard?
I was actually surprised to see epe on flames few weeks ago lol, dunno if he was originally flames or not though or just trying out something new
and out of all my games this week so far, haven't seen flames win once, and haven't seen the leviathan flames premade pvp all this week either. I really wish I could get multiple people to hop shit to adder with me, but only a few were willing, and those few don't even pvp as often as they used to
oh, so thats how it works, i guess that solves the confusion for some of my friends
on a side note though, maelstrom is just as stubborn still with having people outright refusing to heal, this was a far less issue on adders compared to maelstrom
poor adders, i actually felt bad for them

LOL
as you should, see what happens when you're not there?
If only people switch over to adder with meno one wants to rank up again but it didn't bother me that much lol it was actually nice still being to gain some reward even from losses, once you hit max rank, the wins are much more important and its like fuck 2nd or 3rd, but losing doesn't bother me if matches were pretty close or intense and there definitely were quite alot like that when I was over on adder.
oh, i guess that explains it thenI wasn't even aware people ran premades on adder, most I seen was like group of 3-4, unless Mimi's group was always full excali premade, i never did bother to check, I just know it was mimi, ruror, and obama, there might have been few other too but idr it being full 8 or anything. I know there's also rocl and khar, as well as his gf/wife i'm assuming, but I don't recall seeing them all in one big excali premade. Tea Pan's usually with 2-3 others I know as well.
But yea, if there's one thing I dislike about premades, esp big/full 8 ones, is that when your whole group doesn't queue up, you pretty much fuck over the other groups who are in there, then the salt of having to wait again for queueeeeee
Mimi queues with a full premade almost every night - his core consists of 3-4 people (some of which you mentioned) and then the rest of his group is usually filled from the Adder LS we have on Excal (that's probably why you only recognize some of the names). These guys are great and really, really coordinated. I can't think of a single game where I've lost with them around.
I play with 1-3 friends so I don't get to join their group often.
TL;DR transfer to Excal already and you can become the best Adder
they've been doing secure i think? not sure
i wasn't able to queue like before then i queued and it was such shit i didn't want to queue anymore ever rip
IT'S HARD TO SAY; maybe i'd have gone mael!? raubahn still da bess, and flame elite gear da besswould you have preferred to stay flames though with how shit they are?
I should probably try queueing secure exclusively a few times, I actually got decent amount of secure pops this week just trying out pvp roulette.
you would've hated it on mael probably, maelstrom has some pretty retarded logic a decent amount of times, but this was mainly in regards to secure since I've only done slaughter with maelstrom for one day now. When I switched over to adder from maelstrom, it was like heaven, it instantly made me wanna stay, they were just far more consistent than what maelstrom was and they actually talked strategy while maelstrom just yolos every damn match and have panic attacks
I think the reason why mael is like that is cause they generally are more talented than the other two gc's. So when you're plain better than other people strategy and tactics go out the window.
But that said for the few months before slaughter came out, i'd say all the best players were on adders and a lot of the newer folk got really solid. I rarely saw bad players for the longest. At the same time mael lost a couple of its superstars (never saw knight wrath or rum for the longest) and i racked up tons of wins up until slaughter patch.
Nowadays i'm pretty sure mael's strong from top to bottom again, and adders were too for a while but a lot of the top players either moved gc's, hate slaughter, or are busy. But i think some really key players are coming back pretty soon, and it's already not too bad (almost 60% winrate myself this week) as i've somehow gotten people to listen to me.
so basically come back so we can dominate \^^/ and make suz suffer for his gc choice
also suz i heard someone saying you wanted to do den? was that true? did you have any other people interested?
Yea, WD was something I've always enjoyed, though I prefer watching more than actually doing it, especially now that I don't have the experience in WD that I used to. The main reason I hung around tiff's twitch channel was the fact she streamed WD very often.
And yea, I actually did few WD matches with people in the maelstrom ls when I was adder, I felt gimp as fuck without my 44 points now, like I forgot how to play with no points lol.
Can you summon a Storm warhorse when your current GC is Flame or Adder?
yeah
Is there any significant use to tank besides being thicker DPS with more stuns?
Wondering if it's worth a job change in those all-too-common 1 healer, 7 DPS situations.
