The issue with this is people who drive stick shift. You need to predict the green light, but god forbid you're behind a truck or something and you can't see what's in front of you. I do my best to follow what that video said since i started driving, but those instances where i have a huge SUV or truck in front of me, and i have to react to the stupid truck accelerating, it delays it. Also I love and try to take care of my car as much as i can, so i'm not one of those people who keep their foot on the clutch in first gear constantly, thus adding a tiny bit more delay during a traffic light.
