I haven't gotten much of an update on Karlos Williams today, but given FSU's current statement that his status as a player is "under review", I'm leaning towards the administration knows a charge is incoming very shortly. A felony charge (which this would be) is an automatic suspension until resolved per school policy.

Florida State -4 now. But Florida state sucks and the top of the big 12 is as good as the top of the SEC west.

TCU won 82-27 and K-State won 23-0, both against conference opponents, both stayed exactly where they were.

At this point pollsters pretty much completely hate anyone that's not SEC, Florida State, Notre Dame, or Oregon.

Oh, FSU has definitely "earned" (read: cheated) their way to a top 10 spot.

They're still a shit team that would have multiple blowout losses this year if they had to play an SEC West or Big 12 schedule.

Because the 4th or 5th best team in the Big 12 performed quite well in direct competition with the 2nd or 3rd best team in the SEC West. And the difference between the 4th or 5th best and very best in either is extremely small.

It pains me to do it but I must agree with the Plow. Well, not on the cheating part, but on the "FSU losing a lot if faced with a tougher schedule" part.

FSU is definitely not as good as they were last year, and only the homerest of homers would argue they were. Not being able to establish any kind of significant run game on offense and an average at best defense is going to lead to the FSU getting beat sooner or later. If FSU can get past Louisville on Thursday, though, I don't see them losing a game until the playoffs.

I think FSU could easily handle Arkansas, Ole Miss, and LSU, but I don't have faith in them surviving in shootouts with other SEC West teams. Defense just ain't good enough for that. Haven't seen enough Big 12 football this year to make a call on that but I know WVU, K-State, and TCU are on fire right now. TCU and Baylor would probably blow FSU out something like 63-34. I'd see FSU playing WVU and K-State closer but still ending up on the losing side.

I miss Kelvin Benjamin, but it is nice to see him going BEAST MODE on Sundays now.
