I don't care about JUCO football....
Nah, to be fair I watched Minnesota and Nebraska, Penn st and Illinois this morning, but the games were almost over at the time of posting. Plus, if he were asking about interesting matchups after those games were underway then he was already watching them or decided not to. Plus, B1G sucks B1Gtime.
God, both Mizzou and Tennessee are sloppy as hell. 15 yards on a PI, false start, offensive holding, botched snap, sack, missed FG.
This is what I have to rely on to meet Bama again...
Edit: Well fuck you too Tennessee secondary.
I'm now Florida States 2nd biggest fan. Good chance Louisville goes to orange bowl if Florida state wins, South Carolina beats Clemson, and Georgia beats Georgia Tech.
Winston should have been ejected, whatever the reason you just don't touch the refs.
The play was whistled, clock was running. The ref should have been in front of the center on top of the ball to prevent snap--not behind the center. The ref can tell Winston not to snap, and he can stand over the ball to prevent it--but a ref CANNOT impede a player from lining up. When clock is running the ref is part of the field. The ref chose not to throw a flag not because there is some vast conspiracy to keep FSU winning (one cursory look at all the no-calls in BC's favor should squash that), but because there was no foul.
But it does give Finebaum and others reason to continue painting FSU as the villains of college football.
I don't care where the ref was there, dude still shoved the ref and had nothing of consequence happen.
loooooool
Also, get ready for four hours of "BUT PAAAAAAAAAAWLLLLL..." http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/ncaaf-...195809699.html
Paul Finebaum will host live call-in show during the Iron Bowl
Sam Cooper
By Sam Cooper 5 hours ago Dr. Saturday
While Brent Musburger and Jesse Palmer handle the broadcast duties for Saturday’s showdown between Auburn and Alabama, the SEC Network will give fans a different perspective of the Iron Bowl.
In addition to the 7:45 p.m. ET broadcast on ESPN (the first time the Iron Bowl is on ESPN since 2007), Paul Finebaum will do a special version of his radio simulcast on SEC Network during the game, according to Sports Illustrated’s Richard Deitsch. Titled “Finebaum Film Room: Iron Bowl Live,” the special will include fans calling in throughout the show and split-screen views of Finebaum on the show’s set and the live game.
“We hope fans will call in and you can get fan reaction as the game is going live,” ESPN senior vice president of college sports programming Burke Magnus told SI. “The feeling for us was this is authentically SEC. Paul is sort of the cornerstone voice of the network in a lot of ways, from his daily radio show to his work on SEC Nation. It is something we have not tried before and we felt like this was unique to the SEC."
For anyone familiar with the SEC-crazed fans who call in to the Finebaum show, this ought to be a very unique viewing experience.
After gaining immense popularity with his Birmingham, Ala., based program, Finebaum’s radio show went the simulcast route earlier this year with the launch of the SEC Network.
Should make for some great moments in retarded fandom. At least 10 people make an ass of themselves that night. Was hoping I had misheard them on Saturday about it being Jesse and Brent. I like Brent but I would have preferred him paired with someone else.
Speaking of, who do you all like to have as game announcers and who do you dislike and why?
