The one you are thinking of is now the Citrus Bowl, since CapOne is tied to the Orange bowl now. Which might take mizzou, but idk

edit: looking now and the Orange bowl will take the highest ranked SEC nonchamp. And the Peach is listed as at-large on both teams.

If MSU had beaten Ole Miss, the playoffs would have been West heavy and I would of thought UGA might end up at the Cotton Bowl, which would have thrown a few other East/West picks into disarray.

Now, yeah I would guess UGA would go to CapOne. I had heard another Michigan State / UGA matchup in the Peach Bowl, but they HATE picking UGA unless their hands are tied.

Eh, I think it was more to do with how bad they lost to UGA and how they lost to A&M tbh D: The Bama loss just added on.

Sucks, though. Wonder if they'll even show for it. Going from #2/Playoffs to the Music City bowl is gonna be tough mentally, but hey, hopefully they will and it'll be a good game!

You just want so bad for Louisville to be a relevant program lol. You cherry pick meaningless bowl games, but don't succeed in your own conference or make an effort to break into the big picture.

Also I love how he's saying that now, even though I don't even know for 100% which bowl game Auburn's going to, or if the projections are right. I'm just saying that just based on how they showed up against UGA after the way they blew the A&M game. College football, out of all the sports out there, are just notorious for that sort of shit to happen. It's easy for UL to show for games, especially since beating Florida once in a bowl game is about as relevant as they have gotten for the most part.

I've said all year long, have I not, that this Auburn team lacks discipline overall, and just aren't tough, and I feel like this is no different, but I mean if you wanna call me out, go for it. I'm sure they'll try, but will their hearts be in it after the expectations they had set out for em? Especially in so many of their offensive starters' last game? I dunno. I can't say for certain. I hope so because I'd hate to lose to one of the best defenses in the country. :^)

What are you even talking about cherry picking bowl games? I brought up the sugar bowl because Louisville was a heavy underdog and when Florida got smashed, the sports pundits went straight to the "Florida was not into the game mentally" chatter, which is exactly what Akiyama said. It's a fucking cop out excuse for fans. Also, that was one of 3? BCS bowls louisville has won, so it isn't their only relevant win, but, you know, history, it doesn't really exist.

Sorry, looked it up. They've been to two in the BCS era, the other was the orange bowl against Wake Forest, so no wonder it's the only big game I can remember them winning,

Either way, excuse or not, when you're at UL versus at a big SEC school, especially based on, you know, history, it's easy for these SEC schools to kinda feel underwhelmed when they're at the Holiday Music City Shitter bowl vs fighting for a spot in the Top 4, or even hell, the Cotton Bowl or something. Sorry, just how it is, man. :< It'd probably be how UL would be if they were shitty in basketball and had to go to the NIT. I guess that's the only comparison I can think of.

yeeeah I only counted from like..97-98 on.

and honestly I feel like college football nowadays is just so much different than even the 90s just based on how society is. Yeah, sure, it's a cop out, but these are 18-19 year old kids in some cases with their expectations crushed by shitty play in a few games, so if UL didn't show, I wouldn't be surprised either, but I'm sure they will cause they gotta topple the big bad SEC.
