Found an NPC in Rala, called Lorissa. Didn't pop on Widescan, didn't have a name above them. All they said was "....." and couldn't get them to say anything else. We spoke to them, traded stones, +1s, +2s, weapons, pulled the NM to them, tried after we cleared the floor, and nothing.
Also, killing the heartwings/random NMs allow for mobs to be seen on Widescan.
(People probably knew all of this, but just typing it up in case.)
I talked to that NPC once and it either moved us to the next floor or changed the objective. Still said "......."
I saw a semi-annoying twitherym spawn just as someone elsewhere said they'd run into one of these "....." npcs, but it may or may not have been related.
Working on a DD oriented Linos.
Snowslit +2: Att/Acc+10
Leafslit +2: DA+1
Pretty stoked to have gotten Att/Acc+10 and DA+1 with just these two stones, but damn. Maybe it's only for the Flute but getting DA+1 with a +2 stone when it seems DA+6 is possible was kinda disheartening... x_x Esp when these stones (the -slit ones anyways) are running for so much gil atm.
Then started working on a DD Sharur Club for my other char.
Snowslit +2: Macc +10
Leafslit +2: Cure Potency +10%...
:/
I tried to get a DD oriented Linos too, but couldn't get past +7 attack and got only shit from leaf stones, which are kinda rare/expensive on my server.
Wonder how better an Att+10/DA+3 Linos would be compared to, say, Ginsen...
Thought about the Eudeamon items. Maybe they make the run prefer certain bosses? Like petjobs for Corse?
Edit: Notmine
:O
Yours?!
I got PET: MAB+17 with an HQ1 Orb, which was good enough for me to keep....
Also, IDK if its been confirmed or not, but at the very least with Orb, you can get Store TP.
LeafOrb+2: Pet: Store TP+3
LeafOrb: Pet: Crit Rate +2%
were the two Leaf-Orbs i traded
Edit:
3 more
Leaforb: Pet Crit+2(yup >_>)
Leaforb+1: Pet PDT-4%
Leaforb+1: Pet Store TP+1
Oh Crit Rate is new, too bad I'm building a mage stat and not a physical one, but yeah
If this can help
Svalinn
3x leaftip+1 got me
Subtle Blow+ 3
Store TP +3
Magic dmg taken -5%
And snowslit +1 x1 got me
Def: 9
Claidheamh Soluis
Leafslit +2 x1 got me
Cure potency +8%
And Snowdim +1
Mag attack bonus + 13
So if you are like me and trying to make something better than priwen without reprisal...
trying to get DEF around 15-20 (to get more dmg reduction on block)
and either -pdt or -mdt.
We still don't know if this shield can get a higher block rate than priwen though.
For what its worth, I think (reported here?), these stones favor these augments.
Slits: DD Buffs
Tips: Ranged buffs
Dims: Mage buffs
Orbs: Pet buffs
Also, I'm curious is the DEF+ augment on shield goes toward the total damage reduction calculation for the shields shield block...
Also i'm wondering if 5% mdt and pdt is the cap, since I got with a +1 stone, it could pretty much be 1-5% on a +1, and 4-5% on a +2 :/
Has anyone ever gotten 6% on either ? (PDT, MDT)
For svalinn i tried snoworb as it doesn't give pet augment but rather the augment pool from the other three snow stones. I'm having def14 and pdt4% atm.
Anyone know which stones for refresh on sword?
Partially OT maybe, but personally I felt disappointment when they "capped" Alluvion Skirmish to a certain amount of floors (except when you meet Balamor etc)
Probably it was always meant this way and it was just a bug, but I liked the fact you had virtually infinite randomized floors.
It was an even better formula than NNI because there you actually had 100 floors and you had to reach 100 if you wanted the "good stuff".
Here it would be just infinite floors without any specific threshold or special floor to reach, aside from random Balamor floors which could happen anytime.
It was much much more fun and interesting, it posed a challenge and it would have represented something to aim for, something to strive for. More progress, more floors with better gear, better people, better strategies and so on.
Really, what a disappointment
I understand the reasons why they probably did this, because the drop rates are so good, if a group could easily do too many floors on each run, it would have killed the long-lasting term of the event and the price of stones.
I guess this is the reason and it's understandable why they put a cap, but I still feel disappointed.
Went in yesterday taking THF with us. Produced a Stone tripple drop I havent seen before personally on Mistmaw including LEAF+2. So if you are doing lower tiers where you run out on Floors quickly anyway bring a THF for drops at least.
