Not going to lie, i enjoy that app because you can sort by music style. And anytime someone does a theme ride/run with a band or year is always fun.

Any recommendations for bodybuilding app? Been using Zero to Hero, and it's great and all but would like to hear what others are using.
man
i'm weak as fuck
and i forgot the post-lifting shakiness/low blood sugar feeling that for some reason doesn't happen after peloton rides that are WAY more exerting
pretty happy with the nuobells and the bench so far though, the bench in particular is significantly more sturdy/nice-seeming than I was expecting.
Ooooh I have plenty so I'll be posting the app and the owner

I use all 3. Hypertrophy Coach is great if you're big in biomechanics of lifting and like to learn
Zane is middle of the road
Cbum is good if you just like to lift and don't care about the scientific, physiological or anatomical aspect of it. He (Cbum) has the most variation throughout the workouts and they change weekly, depending on the split you decide to follow. They're all priced accordingly, Hypertrophy coach has sales periodically for a year so it's like $150 or a lifetime membership for $250 and honestly the content and features he offers makes it totally worth it.

Also feeling gloriously sore this morning from lifting yesterday
Should I do dumbell lifting for legs once a week or just keep riding ~3 times a week and just have that be my legs workout?
Your legs won't get bigger and strength is hard to improve via cardio/HIIT
true
throw in some single-leg deadlifts + walking lunges for your wife, maybe some glute bridges
My legs don't seem to respond unless I'm going squat/deadlifts in the 70-90% 1RM range. I can get work capacity increase from lunges,kb/db stuff but no size or strength gains. It's really hard for me to get good reps in that range and bike 4-10 hours in a week.
I just don't really think I want my legs to get bigger lol, my calves are already weirdly big, and it might be better overall to stick to cardio instead
Unflexed candid photo after not lifting for almost 3 years for reference![]()
They look good, but i wouldn't say weirdly big
Lets be honest. We are all getting old. It's more about being able to move well and a feel good.
@Archi just be happy both calves are the same size. It's been 4-5 years since my achilles rupture and they'll never be the same again.
Need side view of calves to know if "weirdly huge" but that's not a bad thing if so, I have massive calves and thankfully can ignore them mostly and focus on other parts during leg day.
i also make a point to take body pics near 6 yr olds to show off my size
Guess i will post my powerlifting session from yesterday, hams and glutes are on fire today.
