Nice work!
awesome job!
New PB on my mile pace today by literally one second. Also, hit the 2 mile mark before the treadmill automatically shuts down at the 35 minute mark for a forced cooldown. Felt good, man.
Last gym visit before vacation next week. New PB on my mile pace. Gonna be eating a lot of cheat meals next week but also doing a shit load of walking (25k+ steps a day) so I’m hoping that balances out a little!
Goal achieved. No longer too fat for rollercoasters at Universal Studios. Made Harry Potter my bitch!
Fuck ya, that ride is worth the effort to lose weight.
i haven't swum in like 3 weeks now because the outdoor pool closed, i was outta town and now because i have a damn sinus infection. i just wanna swim laps wtf.
I miss being able to swim. One of the few things I enjoyed that was low-impact, but I could still get my heart rate high, and it saved my legs. Sadly, my shoulder injury, which didn't show up until I started swimming a lot, keeps me from doing almost any swimming now.
It usually takes me a few months to get back to PR strength after a cut, but I hit a 540 deadlift today, and it felt solid. Feeling confident, I decided to go for a new PR and loaded 570 on the bar. The lift started strong and came off the floor with good speed—I really thought it was in the bag. But something felt off; my alignment wasn’t right, and I noticed a shift. Being out of position, I decided to let it go. At almost 40, I’m not risking a back injury just to feed my ego.
I took a six-minute break and went for it again, but it wouldn’t budge off the floor—I’d spent all my energy. That was it for the day.
It’s frustrating, but I’m still in a good place. Looking forward to continuing my bulk for the next 4+ months.
Yeah if my knees or back feel even slightly off these days I stop what I'm doing immediately. I ain't taking risks like that.

I feel like any results this guy gets, it is from loading and unloading weight from the bars, more so than the "workout".
I have now graduated to the blue category of weights on certain machines, which means 200+ pounds. Feels good man.
