    Grats Qal.

I've stalled a tiny bit on mine in part due to a con, and part just not physically having the pain threshold to work out with this bulging disk. Still over 20 pounds lost in 2 months though.

Also had to get bloodwork done for pre-op. Had a protein shake for breakfast before hand, so was considered a non fasting panel. Blood sugar/glucose was 89. My last test was in may, fasting was 97.

A few years ago before I started working the gym as much as I could and getting below 300, I was pre-diabetic levels.

A month ago (Halloween night, specifically) I fell down on a concrete sidewalk and hurt both my knees, my left hurt for about a week but is totally fine now. My right knee however still has lingering pain on one very specific tip of the patella when pressure is applied. I have no issues walking, running, squatting, leaning, stretching etc, all is well. But one very small, very specific spot is in extreme pain if I apply pressure to it by touch, and kneeling on it is very painful but only because of the touch from putting weight on it.

My dummy internet searches say possible patella fracture given that it’s been a month now and still hurts, but everything else I am reading about fractures says I should be in pain from walking, running, exercising etc and that’s just not the case. Everything feels fine, except direct pressure in one very specific spot.

I know the direct answer is gonna be to see a doctor but I’m just stumped how one very tiny specific area is causing me this issue on contact but I’m having no issues at all with movement or running etc.

Go see a sports medicine physician or orthopedic surgeon and get imaging. The human body is weird yo.

Not the same situation, but I had a small hidden pain in my back from a car accident. I noticed lower back and sciatica pain but not this one. Therapy improved my back and sciatica but not by a lot and after a couple months I hit a wall that I didn't know what to do about. The doctor wanted to go the needle or surgery route, and I was super hesitant just cause the doctor sucked and made sooo many bad assumptions about my recovery behavior or pain I was experiencing. Literally lying (by making assumptions on things he never talked to me about) in front of my face while dictating notes to his recorder; I had to call him out and correct him many times much to his chagrin. (Advocate for yourselves and don't take no shit from any doctor that isn't doing their role correctly!)

So I did an overall consult/checkup with the physical therapist after a few months, and while she was investigating my back (sports massage?) she found one small spot on my lower back to the side that hurt so bad I was yelling in pain. Just inexplicably, out of nowhere, I didn't see it coming, excruciating pain that was comparable to the pain I felt when I herniated a lumbar disk. She said it was a smaller muscle behind another one, and she spent a few minutes massaging it out and that literally fixed everything. The only thing that remained was a very slight sciatica pain that 100% went away once I lost weight.

I write all this just to let you know that oftentimes it can be something small or very big that is causing you this discomfort but go get many opinions and points of views on how to deal with it and don't do anything you're uncomfortable with until you have exhausted all other options.

Weight loss stalled a bit due to lack of gym time, but still below 240.

Dropped to a 36" waist pair of jeans and actually seeing a difference in the mirror.

    Thank you Reta

    KICK ASS BROTHER

Woke up this morning and decided to hit the treadmill before getting started with all the Christmas festivities and ran a 5k. Got me a little 600 calorie buffer. Not sure how much it will help when I’m about to rip off a few 4k calorie days with Christmas food and treats but mentally I feel a little better about it.

Getting random pulses of pain in my big toe over the last week. Nerve issue from my knee injury trickling down? Early signs of diabetes? The internet says could be either. Maybe both. Getting old sucks.

So okay. I thought I'd ask you guys.

Been slooowly getting up stuff for a home gym. (Just in case of car trouble) Trouble is the treadmill I may of gotten from my grandma seems not in good shape.

I'm thinking exercise bands, a kettlebell, a mat and something cardio. Trouble is I need something compact so I can PUT IT AWAY and also low impact; darn that left ankle and I'm a little creaky in spots anyway. Any ideas on what I should be looking for on Facebook Marketplace?

I used an under the desk cycle right now for cardio, gets my heart rate going at least a bit and I can do it while in meetings/watching youtube and other stuff so not being fully sedentary.

Meresgi; that's a idea. I was also thinking about looking for a step bench or using the box/step I got for my bed for that. (Don't laugh. It's a little tall and I got it before my surgery to make it easier to get into bed.)

That works too, stair machines or just stepping up and down on a box is great for cardio too. I think anything simple enough to put in front of a desk is great. gf has a treadmill she has setup with her stand up desk too she got off Amazon for like $180 or something I think so she just walks on it while working

My entire home gym is a thick rubber rollup mat (optional if you have flooring you aren't concerned about) a folding Flybird adjustable bench, and a set of 5-80 lb selectable dumbbells. When put away the entire set takes up about 6 sq feet of floor space.

And we have a Peleton that I don't ride much, mainly for my wife.

Lol my Peptides for Cheap substack is charting at #94 in the "Health and Wellness" category. It started gaining subscribers kinda out of nowhere in late November and now has ~330, picks up like 3-4 every day, and I'm doing next to nothing to drive traffic to it.

Please tell me your guide says this somewhere in BIG RED LETTERS:

DO NOT PUT MEMOS OR NOTES ON ANY PAYMENT OR TRANSFER OF FUNDS.

The number of people who still don’t understand that this isn’t fucking Amazon is unreal. When you order on the grey market, it takes weeks to arrive. Even longer if customs gets their hands on the shit.

We’ve already lost a few golden providers because dumb motherfuckers keep putting things like “for peptides” in the memo, or they panic after waiting a couple of weeks and start reporting vendors instead of just being patient.

I get why you’re doing it, but know this. I hate you a little for dragging people who are too dumb into the market. If you can’t find your way here on your own by following the breadcrumbs, which are basically road signs at this point, then you probably shouldn’t be in this market at all.

Get your nut, but i hate you.
