I'm stuck on dumbbell bench - I can already 3x8 my 80s, and I bought some industrial magnets to pop on to get them up to 82.5 but that's as high as they go.

I think I’m gonna have to stop taking the creatine, I’ve noticed on days that I take it, I get very vocal bubble guts and gas for like 16 hours. The internet says being gassy is a common side effect but I don’t think I want to deal with this anymore lol
5g after my workouts
When I was home for Easter I knew my mom would want to take some family photos so I wore a nice polo that I haven’t really worn since college because I got too fat. Well it fits again, so I was jazzed to slip it back on. My cousin was there, and she gave me some great advice. She has seen my fitness journey unfolding thru social media but this was the first time she has seen me in person in over a year. She told me I needed to retire my fat boy clothes because it was hiding so much of the progress I have made. I took her advice and started wearing some of my old clothes again, as well as making sure I was buying new shirts a size (or two!) down. Let me tell yeah, she was so right on the money. The amount of positive comments I have received in the last month has been surprising. Even from people that I see on consistent basis. Got me thinking about going full mid 2000s college student and applying for the Express store credit card again lol
I'm a huge pack rat with my shirts.
I've always enjoyed my shirts being baggy, so no qualms about my 3x shirts, though new ones I buy are 2x.
What sucked was ordering a hockey jersey, and based on their sizing guide, ordered what would be a 2x, and it's fucking huge on me.

TWO YEAR UPDATE
Started in May 2024 at 300. Today I am 234. I’m down 4 pounds total from year one to year two so I’m definitely in my plateau/maintain area. Keeping the skeletal muscle mass over 90 pounds is becoming my goal now. But the victories are not just the numbers on a scale. Blood pressure is “normal”. Clothes fit and look good. And putting myself out of my comfort zone and doing challenging things like completing my first 10k this year. And bringing home a lot of medals and trophies. Today was a Memorial Day Murph at my gym and I had no idea it was happening and went in totally blind. It was brutal. But I finished.
Spoiler: show
Yeah! That's awesome!!
I picked up biking in august of last year- I don't think I had legitimately sweated in like 10 years prior to that. Now I ride outside or zwift 6 days a week :0
I just started a structured plan with trainerroad so I guess I'll see how this goes. I keep going through spells where I'll lift weights but I haven't done anything in the home gym in several months now.

I'm having surgery soon and had to cycle off everything. Not even TRT and omg this is hell. No NPP or HGH. All these random aches and pains. Y'all just be living like this? Baby this is ghetto.
my body is a self created prison of pain where a large chunk of my daily focus goes towards ignoring it rendering me tired and irritable
Now hit him harder with the Peter Gabriel cover.
20lbs away from being down 200 (don't judge) I have officially done a 180
Incredible

broke my toe 3 weeks ago, was finally able to wear shoes to gym without pain again and i ended up accidentally kicking the wall with my healing toe. this is the most disjointed and horrible my gym schedule has been in over 15 years.
the sound my foot made hitting that wall was heartbreaking, foot already getting purple again
