you don't even know the half of it, her dog is vegan fed only, and she has a few "artsy" videos of her naked being whipped and put into a cage as some sort of animal protest.

So a quick little update. I haven't made it back to the gym during work hours, but I have been making sure to find the time to walk 30-60 minutes a day. I've also been consistenly below my daily calorie allowance by 300-500 calories. So far the scale says I've lost about 5-7 lbs. I'll keep it up and get to the gym for some strength stuff as soon as I can fit it in. I'm at least doing something, even if it's just walking.
Post pump on at the gym. Put up 285 on the bench now. Target weight 165, currently at 159.

Lost 10lbs since last post, doing the recommended lifts from stronglifts and am at 165 squat/deadlift 5x5/1x5. I look a lot better already, feel a lot better, and clothes fit better.
Hi,
Too socially awkward to go to a gym but I've been doing what I can at the house. I got a freestanding pullup bar a while ago and I went from being able to do 0 pullups to 10 in a row, so while I have no idea what I'm doing I think I've made decent progress. I dont monitor what I eat too well but I have dropped the little excess fat I have and maintain fairly steady with a decent amount of treadmillin
Wondering what a good next purchase as far as home stuff goes would be, I keep looking at a weightbench/squat rack combo. Not trying to snap my shit up but I would like to bulk some
Decent barbell, weight plates, squat rack (cage style with movable safety bars if possible) and a bench. Boom, you can literally do 99.99% of all gym exercises with that. Cage style squat rack is like the one Cream Soda has. Also known as a power rack. Brand new will set you back a decent chunk of money but well worth the investment if you don't want to go to a gym. You can also try your luck with craigslist and second hand sport goods stores, like Play It Again Sports. Mileage may vary in that situation of course.
After that, maybe look into dumbbells.
Fucking hell, 2 days after doing some upper body workouts, my biceps are fucking stiff as hell.
Thanks. I was doing a lot more weight with starting strength 3x5 but I feel like I get a lot more out of and have a lot harder time doing 5 sets with SL which I really like. I was well into the 200s with squat and DL with Starting strength and while the DL feels too easy now, the squat is demanding.
So this may sound like a weird question, but is anyone in the Long Island area interested in training for something like American Ninja Warrior? I've been going to the gym 6-7 days a week for a while now and feel like I'm ready to take the next step and work on obstacles similar to that of the TV show.
Pretty much I'm looking for someone to train REALLY hard with 6 or so days a week. I have some workout buddies at the UFC gym I go to, but none of them seem motivated enough for me. I don't really have a purpose in life right now lol and competing on the show seems like it'd be a good goal for me.
Picked up a Fitbit Charge HR and I have to say this thing is pretty awesome; I love it so far. I don't really give two craps about steps, floors, or miles but the heart rate monitor, calorie tracking, and sleep tracking is great.
I was ready to feel bad about skipping the gym for the third day in a row, but then I checked my stats for the past day:
Was pretty shocked. In hindsight, seems accurate... spent a solid 15 hours on hard demo work/cleaning/errands for the home.
So I'm curious as to what my daily calorie count is and am going to start keeping track for a few months. There are quite a few calorie counting sites out there, does anyone recommend one as "the best/more accurate"?
