It's an internet forum dog, wouldn't get too worried about it; Milk will survive
Lmao I'm not worried about it outside of this moment(where else ami going to post while between sets or taking a dump), but I hate for anyone to think they're a martyr
The mri showed I had quite a few things going on in my right knee, so I had surgery last Monday. Shit has been rough so far.
An interesting finding is I have 42 to 50 beats per minute at rest. I remember back in FFXI days I was at 65-75, which wasnt bad for the sedentary lifestyle I had, but it still is surprising I have lowered them that much. Thought it was mostly an outcome of doing aerobic sports a lot, endurance training, cyclism and the likes. I lift and not much else, but I guess training at high intensity and quite frequently for several years still do the trick.
My bpm gets up to 215 when I do anything remotely resembling cardio. In other news being unable to focus on deadlifts or squats for a few months has really forced me to focus on improving my bench.
I am guessing that is going to be happening to me soon, too. I just want to get better and at least walk, no matter how bad, so I feel I can at least go and work the upper body. My idea is to be doing that in a week or two, and for legs start stretching and do some cycling, to hopefully start from low weights next month and go back up to where I were. But from what I would like to happen to what actually happens, who knows. For now its day to day and improvements are slow as fuck, but I feel I am close to a turning point...
Why cant you focus on deadlifts and squats, Panda?
so my daily schedule is:
9:05 - 10:55 AM class.
1:30 PM work.
and I have a world-class gym on my campus.
there was never a better setting for a return to fitness. :D
- starting out at 25 minutes (3 off, 2 on) interval running (3.5mph off, 5.5 on) for the moment. gonna push that number up as my legs strengthen back up. also thinking of inserting some other cardio just to keep the body from getting too comfortable.
- doing some very light strength training to test the limits of my bad shoulder. even a small amount of work that doesn't directly involve the shoulder aggravates it, so that's bad news. the exercises my physical therapist gave me are more effective than I anticipated, so that's the good news. not sure what's going on in my body but I'm going to keep testing the waters. it takes a lot of discipline to lift less weight and do less reps than you want to but I'd rather slowly test the limits of my injury than go balls out and have to deal with the repercussions.
too much weed (and too many munchies) and I'm about 30 lbs over what my weight should be, so the plan is to cut that down while slowly rehabilitating my shoulder and eventually bulk back up to something I'm comfortable with. let's go, fitness!
Fk, officially realized I got fat again today. Have added 35 lbs of the 60 lost and I wasn't even done losing at -60.
I've been sick so very little working out - But being sick always drops me a few pounds and today I hit the under 130 milestone. I'm feeling a lot better so time to put on the pounds by eating and drinking (water, not alcohol) as much as I can. Also gym. I miss gym ; ;
12 was added between March and November. Then eating and stress season came and added 15 mid Nov to today.
I know what to do, just need to do it again and quit feeling sorry

For all the people complaining about not being able to squat inside their racks.

The problem is you dignified him with a response
Why would someone walk that close to you doing it? It's pretty safe as long as you know how to squat and brace your body. There's a whole subset of exercises that look super sketchy but are really fun to do, i.e. Yoth Sarcasmo Press, Bent Over Press, Steinborn Squat, MBBMDFCSDC, One handed barbell anything, etc.
