Yeah I would never drop them lol, that's my apartment floor. Just like the higher chance of massive of shit moments like if I get a massive cramp or something and forget not to kill myself while dealing with it. It's not something I'm ACTUALLY worried about until I go up to dumbbell weights that I can't control well with my arms / shoulders by themselves.
Anyone have any suggestions for some core work? I work to exhaustion for sets of leg raises/incline sit ups/landmine 180s etc but I'm never sore afterwards (like on the drive home or the day after)
I'm 5'9, 140lb with low-ish bodyfat but I want more ab definition lol
I'm hitting all my other goals, 1RM bench@200, squat@300, deadlift almost 350 but the girlies like dem abs yo
RIP
5'9, 140lbs I'm picturing something like old school BJ Penn, and not picturing 145lb Conor McGregor.
I'd suggest doing a body recomposition and eat in a caloric surplus to put on another 5-10 lbs of muscle while shedding whatever adipose fat your body will allow you to lose.
In other news, haven't lifted in since January due to a toe injury (turf toes fucking sucks and takes forever to heal). Squatted today and hit a new PR for a triple.

Nice Hush. I dropped off the bandwagon almost 2 years ago. Gained a bunch of weight. I'm going on 15 weeks back and almost back to the same strength and endurance I was. I got some hella before and afters coming. It's gonna be something like a 215-220 18-20% bf to 195-200 10% or less.
Who was asking for protein? anyway, here's the protein I use. No flavour or sugar whatsoever.
^What I use as well. Love it.
Best way to burn tummy fat at home, without paying gym or for materials? (like weights etc)
thanks

This is the protein I use. Tastes exactly like a blue gatorade to me. It's 100% pure so 0 carbs, 0 sugar, 0 fat, just 40g of protein and water. Very tasty and refreshing after a workout. Oh and it's lactose-free (for those who are sensitive to the lactose in regular whey) It's pretty convenient and since it's so smooth and clear it goes down like you'd drink a bottle of gatorade and doesn't leave you feeling bloated or anything
Go vegan for a month and you'll lose all kindz of fatz and gainz. The gargantuan amounts of food I had to consume to meet my daily caloric intake (3k) was insane.
Coming off a bout of pretty serious depression (happens intermittently with me) which ended my longest streak of continuous gym-ing in my entire life. Thankfully I'm still pretty much in shape and only really need to lose the same last 10lbs I wanted to lose a year ago, so that's good. Problem is that now that I am 100% done with school, unless I start getting out and doing stuff and keeping busy and my brain occupied I'm gonna end up doing something pretty damn stupid (also p. intermittent).
To this end I want to start running or hiking or outdoorsing more regularly and often to go along with third-wheeling my friends' gym sessions (to make sure I actually go). However I have incredibly flat feet, am prone to shin splints for one reason or another, and haven't run without being chased in about 12 years. I have some Nike's with good-ish arch support but I was hoping you guys may have some other options / other things I can do to help prevent the shin splints I'm worried about getting. Also how do you even get back into running? I get winded looking at people running, despite being in reasonably good physical shape. I've thought about going to a track or around the lake or something but I feel like I'm gonna end up on the side of the road gasping for breath after 30s. Suggestions?
