Well, your refusal to believe the residents and some of these people aren't doing as reported leads me to believe you're a pretty naive person who's grown up in a fantasy world.

Then again, I'm pretty cynical of the fact that all of the stuff you've posted is pure speculation and conspiracy without a shred of concrete proof.

Absolutely nobody in that crowd last night had a gun. The core of protestors have policed themselves since day 1, they don't need the help of crooked cops to remove anyone trying to start any fuckery and put everyone's lives at risk. Does that fact upset you?

Obviously the gunfire could have come from some nutjob down the street, affiliated with neither party. I don't give 2 shits if you think I'm conspiracy-buzzword-theorist if I think it could be plausible that cops would stoop lower to staged gunfire to frighten protestors. I already said that part was my opinion, so feel free to discount any and all of my future updates on Ferguson.

On the contrary. I actually read, and appreciate your updates, so don't think I'm disregarding those. I am humorously paying attention to the conspiracy theories and the reports of the rich guys "contributing" to the cause. Sorry if it came off as droll, but I don't like rich people and I do NOT trust anyone who is a public figure that's involved in this incident.

    That's just me though.

Shocking how you don't understand how the rest of us don't trust or like cops in general then.

Mostly because I am a cop and see things from the cops perspective instead of only seeing and concentrating on one side. It's called being reasonable. Should try it sometime.

I dunno, your posts tend to indicate otherwise.

Go ahead and find some of your posts that concentrate on the side of the people getting tear-gassed.

Contrary to your belief, I love the police where I live. Then again, I live in a predominately white area and am one of the few minorities living here (and I say that with consideration to the number of white families versus minority families).

I'm grateful I'm a Spanish descendant, because I don't have to deal with Mexican hate or black hate like I would if I were of Mexican or Dominican descent.

I don't, however, believe you're being reasonable at all. If anything, you're victimizing cops everywhere every time you post.

We get it. Your job sucks. Blame the criminals, not the people who want them stopped.

When you've descended to the point where you can't distinguish criminal from citizen and therefore everyone is a criminal, you not only trample on their rights but the Constitution as well.

Grand jury considering the Ferguson shooting is being investigated for misconduct

The St. Louis County prosecutor’s office is investigating an accusation of misconduct on the grand jury that is hearing the case against the Ferguson police officer who shot and killed 18-year-old Michael Brown.

Ed Magee, the spokesman for county prosecutor Robert McCulloch, said they received the information from a “Twitter user” Wednesday morning.

“We are looking into the matter,” he said.

An account of possible jury misconduct surfaced Wednesday morning on Twitter, when several users sent messages about one juror who may have discussed evidence in the case with a friend.

In one of those messages, a person tweeted that they are friends with a member of the jury who doesn’t believe there is enough evidence to warrant an arrest of the officer, Darren Wilson.

The same person who tweeted about being friends with a member of the jury has also tweeted messages of support for Wilson.

Magee confirmed that the Twitter user and feed came from an activist, Shaun King.

Within seconds of posting this, her friends told her to delete it and she did. It was screenshotted first. pic.twitter.com/b6kTf9p40h

The jury has been weighing evidence on the case since Aug. 20, within days of the Aug. 9 shooting. McCulloch told The Washington Post last week that both the FBI and county police’s investigations into the shooting are “pretty much done.” He also said that jurors should be done hearing all the evidence by later this month, but they could meet through mid-November.

Grand jury proceedings are confidential and if there has been a breach, the prosecutor’s office may have to start over with a newly empaneled group.

Meanwhile, Ferguson is grappling with continuing protests amid the wait over whether Wilson will face charges.

Attorney’s for the Brown family did not immediately respond to requests for comment regarding the investigation into the grand jury.

Reached on Wednesday evening, King told the Post that the potential link was further evidence that the current legal proceedings may be flawed.

“At a time where so many people in Ferguson already don’t believe that Prosecutor Bob McCulloch will take this case seriously, this potential leak is a disaster,” King said. “If it’s found to be true and the Grand Jury has to be dismantled, McCulloch should be taken off of the case immediately and replaced with a special prosecutor.”

You use the word to address him personally each and every time, don't be surprised if when reading it some one takes the next "you/you're" as you still addressing him. You aren't incorrect in your grammar, but taken in context, yes you were still talking about him. Sorry if I rustled any jimmies.

Called it. Like Zimmerman, no jury in America will be able to try this case. Wilson is gonna walk away from this.

Pretty solid line of thinking you got there.

First off, you're arguing my perspective of the police response when most of the people in this thread have taken the sides of the protesters.

I love how people are saints and can do no wrong, when clearly there's enough evidence when the riots began, that there were people in the crowds enticing a police response. I explain the tactics, and it's considered brutal militarized oppression and the protesters clearly should have been left alone so that crowds could loot and destroy the city. But, it's the police's fault for rolling in with tanks and automatic weapons that sparked this, when it was happening well before they gathered to respond to the behavior.

Second, I put out some cold hard reality in terms of jury and witness tampering, the science and methodology behind a murder investigation and why it's taking so long, and my own opinions on the situation, and realize hardheaded assholes aren't paying attention or are so caught up on their outrage that it doesn't matter.

So forgive me if I'm a bit frustrated with a group of people who're normally open minded and objective. Instead, I see a bunch of people who've gone the Reddit/4chan circlejerk and become the very people we used to make fun of back in the FFXI prime era.

Don't get me wrong, while I don't think this would have been a bad idea, keep in mind I don't think that either the Ferguson or St. Louis PD were prepared for this (or even the miracle worker MS State Police and Captain Sunshine Johnson for that matter...)

There's things in place (according to the ICS playbook) you can do to minimize threats and keep resources on hand to evolve response. I don't like how they threw everything out there at once. No cordoning off of streets and protesters to separate them, no funneling system to keep them in one area, no staging area for the media until the last minute, no medical resources on hand, no centralized field processing center, no PIO to address the public/media, no Accounting Officer to track resource spending and damage estimates, and no backup plans. Just BAM! There they are.

But even still, no one died and no real harm came to anyone during the protests except those who were on the outside and got shot in drive-by shootings and beaten by outsiders. All in all, it's been "pretty not bad" as far as civil unrest situations go.

The fact his opening reply to that was:

while I don't think this would have been a bad idea
    disturbs me.

I think it's been pretty fucking bad considering Media personal were arrested night after night.
