Typical Cardinals fan.
Ferguson PD Chief just said the robbery had nothing to do with stopping Brown; rather it was because he was walking in the street.
Flip flops and argyle socks? Deserved to die
DC snipers and Ft Hood shooter want a word with you.
The fact that archi can sum up pages and pages of effortposts in three sentences without any inflammatory language is pretty on point.
Not saying y'all don't have valid points. The militarization of police, the deliberate squashing of two parts of the First Amendment, and the disproportionate use of force against black men are all evident here. Just want to get more information before I'm ready to charge a cop with murder.
And yeah, I just watched that presser too, I guess the cop did stop him for walking in the middle of the street. But if he did just commit a robbery, maybe he was acting erratically. We can't say right now and we'll probably never know.
Please tell me where I can find this super cheap enterprise capable network storage that can hold petabytes of data and have more available for regular offsite backups as well please. I'd love to tell my boss we don't need this 90k Chasis with drives to go along with our FAS.
Please find me any large (1500 plus employees) that back up video to blu ray's and walk away. I have never seen any large organization do that.
Wow
so robbing the store was completely irrelevant and not related?
also
fucking lol at cops randomly hassling a black guy in the street...AND HE HAPPENED TO JUST COMMIT ROBBERY
Textbook police work. Character assassination and obfuscation to justify murder.
Next I'm sure the New York police will be saying that the dude who died from a chokehold was running a drug ring because he sold loose cigarettes.
Ferguson Police Chief Tom Jackson on Friday said the police officer who shot and killed Michael Brown was not aware that the unarmed 18-year-old was accused of robbing a convenience store just minutes before the shooting.
Jackson said that "the initial contact with Brown was not related to the robbery." Jackson also clarified that Darren Wilson, the officer who shot and killed Brown, wasn't even responding to a call about the robbery as initially reported. Wilson instead stopped Brown because he was jaywalking.Solid use of police time.Wilson instead stopped Brown because he was jaywalking.
That's actually pretty good to hear that they came out and said it, hopefully that statement helps people get past the smokescreen. He wasn't shot as a suspected robber, he was shot as a black man.
Too late, the wells been poisoned. Character assassinated. Good on them for owning up but once again we're at the crossroads of any interaction between some brown people and cops potentially going pear shaped.
At this rate I'm going to be yelling "dont shoot" from the moment a cop pulls me over 'til the altercation is over.
"Do you know why I pulled you over?"
"Dont shoot, Dont shoot, No sir, Dont shoot, Dont shoot."
"Have you had anything to drink tonight?"
"Don't shoot, dont shoot, no sir i havent, dont shoot."
Aaaaaaaand then I get arrested for disorderly conduct.
Have you tried just getting your name legally changed to "Don't Shoot" that way it's right there on your license when you hand it to him?
Apologies if this was already mentioned (I'm trying to get up to date on the thread), but Israel is on top of that shit.

It wasn't, but mostly because it's like three thousand miles off-topic for a throwaway joke
The problem with him not being suspected of the robbery is that it helps justify profiling.
"See? You can take any ol' nigger off the street and if you guess they just committed a crime, you're right! Just like Michael Brown!"
Police were still looking for the robbery suspect 7 hours later?
Thought this one was pretty good.
