35 feet is really fucking far for a cop to believe that lethal force on an unarmed man is justified.

From what I read they were saying 35ft from the cop car, but maybe I glanced over it too quickly. It's already been established that the cop did not shoot him from the car, but rather that the cop chased him until he stopped. The construction worker claimed they were about 10ft apart when Brown either stumbled or moved towards the officer and the officer began backing up and firing his weapon. Considering the construction worker was said to be about 50ft from the incident I would think his distance estimate would be at least somewhat accurate.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm not sure it's really possible to get good ballistics data when it's anything past 2ft away, so the witnesses are really the only outlet for distance.

A lot of this speculation is also over "leaked" info from an unknown source. The only thing I would take as legit so far is the pathology report, which (keep in mind) is a report that outlines the cause of death and a thorough examination of the body, and doesn't necessarily mean it's been forensically examined.

Additionally, officer and witness statements are taken in three stages after a high-stress situation: initial statement, preliminary, and final written statement. It takes two sleep cycles or 72 hours before the mind resets itself and the details of the incident become more clear. We don't know at what stage this "statement" has been made, and this is why witness statements are sometimes unreliable as they can differ so much between recollection times.

Some of you are only concentrating on alleged statements made by Wilson and picking apart minor inconsistencies that do not matter in the long-run when reconstructing the scene. The way it works is all possible witness testimony is reconstructed and broken down, either being proven or disproven given the evidence. This same thing is being done to the outside witnesses as well. Yes, a police officers word is more valuable, as the officer has more training to deal and retain more information, but it still can produce inconsistent statements when comparing to the forensics.

Last night there was a return to the quick-draw response of the FPD, where protestors knocked their mini barracade down(but hadn't crossed it) and within minutes a giant police line formed, guns drawn, marching the protestors off to the other side of the street.


A lot of targeting of livestreamers going on in the last month or so. Apparently they are considered protest "leaders" to the boys in name-tagless uniforms. STL cops have been very active on this forum... they better hope anonymous doesn't get bored and expose them lol

Livestreamer and protest regular Umar Lee tracks down an internet troll who posted his old neighborhood address. Umar grew up/went to school with many of the Wilson supporters seen at various protest locations(the now closed and infamous pizza owner who pulled a gun on protestors, at one of the cardinals games, and of course behind keyboards), whom many have expressed bigoted muslim opinions/attacks while livestreaming. A sort of impromptu HS reunion these past few months.

So he clearly knows this guy enough to know where he works and personal shit about him (because you know, he knew him from high school), then go find him somewhere public, instead of at his fucking employment where you know he has no other choice than to be a bitch and cave? Let me add something then:

It is my opinion that it is a major bitch move to roll up on someone at their place of employment, as you are picking a fight with someone that you know will not fight back because they need to keep their job. You are instigating an incident that you know will immediately be de-escalated by the person you are instigating with in the interest of their income, regardless of how they may want to react to your instigation. Trying to instigate an incident with someone who you know has their hands tied is a massively cowardly move. This persons cowardly move is made even more embarrassing by the fact they uploaded this video and are proclaiming themselves to be a complete badass.

You can claim that going to their place of employment is "safest for self-preservation", but instigating something knowing that person is incapable of doing anything other than backing down is not a "win", its a timely forfeit win, one that would not come had this incident taken place anywhere else.

If I came to your place of employment and pulled a stunt similar to this, would you react the way you'd want to and risk your job or just back down?
