As a former prosecutor, I can tell you the way that the prosecutor handled this case is a miscarriage of justice. This is just horrible.

Just to chime in, the bit about him 'disproving the officer standing over him' there's a picture out there on twitter especially that shows it actually happened, so if one thing was incorrect.. what about others?

On man they just got tear gassed live on CNN. Looks like some people were rushing some woman in distress and something happened behind them and police fired tear gas there.
