Yes, they drove and fired upon everyone and everywhere indiscriminately. That's how they always operate.

Now told that anyone on the balcony of MoKabe's is subject to arrest. #Shaw
Just tuned back in, what the fuck is going on here....cutting the power???
It's a bunch of white people who are yelling stupid shit at the cops right now.
There is a real estate agent on the balcony tracking down the deed and property rights to see if the balcony is really private property.
what do people hope to accomplish through doing all this? I'm really curious what the logic is with everything. if there is any
The logical response to a Grand Jury hearing which has done a rare thing and not indicted someone because of lack of evidence is to burn half the town down and get more people angry and displaced. Yep. That's the ticket.

Seriously. You don't get to protest on private business property. They're disobeying lawful orders from the police and people are mad they're getting teargassed?
They got rid of a starbucks, as a privileged white female, i just can't even
All things considered, I actually think the police response was a lot better than I was expecting with respect to treatment of media and bystanders. I think the bigger issue was McCulloch releasing the announcement at night when it's harder for police to ID the people actually causing issues without providing more of a cooling off period for the community.
I just hope they don't go overboard tomorrow in response to tonight. Main issue seems to be whether it's worth deploying police (and fire) to the areas where there's live gunfire. Police quoted 150 rounds in the press conference but I don't know if that includes ammo that may have gone off in fires. Not sure if a change in tactics would help if the police can't get to areas before they get set on fire / looted.
There's not going to be an easy answer to people feeling like the system has failed them, but it's important to not make the problem worse while you're trying to figure out how to move forward.
Yeah, how do you calm the angry bees once you have kicked the nest? Smoke and teargas seems to work. >.>
Off to bed. See you all tomorrow morning.
