Being black isn't some sort of epic struggle to survive or anything. However it is a struggle to escape the crab mentality that weighs on you from others within the society. I can tell right now 100% dudes robbing and shit there right now are on this "These bitches dont owe me shit, so fuck everybody" mentality. The beauty of being black is the fact that we can be so passionately vocal when we put the words together coherently, but also endlessly stupid at the same time when we dont have an outlet to voice concerns about the struggle.

What people are watching right now is the irony of the message of Boondocks episode "Return of the King" happening in real time.

Mostly I'm with Tarage. At the base of it all, no matter how big or small it is to be black in America, the truth is I don't know it because I'm not black. I don't say it to profound, at the root of it, it's true. I can assume it sucks at least a little bit more than life already sucks, you know?

This is the problem with white people (and others) looking in from the outside. They feel because they arent black, they can't understand what it feels to be black. This is only true in the sense of racial sentiments. If you've ever lived in a society with the people of any race who has been poor and/or disenfranchised, you already understand part of the struggle. Those problems transcend region, race, age and time. I guess it would only be understood if people actually travelled outside of the US and experienced and human condition in other countries.

I kinda feel bad for white people. They will never have an excuse to loot. I'm sure they would love to go wild in a Cabella's or Academy or Walmart. We would have to have a major disaster in order for white people to loot. This is why white people love The Walking Dead. They get to watch white people loot while the black people stay behind and guard their shit. The fucked up part is the one time they let a black guy loot, he fucking steals liquor.

I like how the news is focusing on the witnesses, even live as I write this, and how many them are being proven wrong by physical evidence. On the air this reporter is asking a witness how does she explain her position that Brown didn't move forward after the revelation of evidence that he did, and she says "i don't know". I wish they could step out of themselves for a moment and see what that really looks like.

Southern white person here, middle class, grandparents were old school (some of ya'll get what I mean), been to the bottom, had to live with blacks, there are more piece of shit white people than black people, end of fkin story.
