UCR is:

White/Caucasian which includes Middle Eastern/Hispanic origin

Native American or Alaska Native

Hispanic/Non-Hispanic has a UCR stat identifier that's separate, but they're still counted towards the "White" category.

They did it for easy catalog for census statistics and that's how it's broken down in NCIC.

The problem I have with all these "movements" is that they become self defeating. Once you state you support it, all you have to say is "I think it matters for everyone" and instantly you're the enemy.

Why the heck would I get behind a movement if the slightest difference in opinion makes me the enemy?

Crazy people often have a logic all their own. I'd support it too if I wouldn't be viewed as the enemy for thinking all human life matters. But apparently that somehow cheapens the sentiment as if Black lives aren't a part of human life.

They're ousting their own people on this mentality. It's now become an Us Vs. Them Vs. Them Vs. Us issue. This video kinda made me sad that people don't even know what they're protesting for and essentially, they're going in circles with logic, and people agree with them!

Saying all lives matter is ignorant and dismissive. There's no other way around it. It's not hard to comprehend the necessity of keeping the message clear and concise: Black Lives Matter.

The statistics I posted are ugly, real, and are still just numbers at the end of the day. Numbers don't convey systemic oppression and impact on the human psyche. The new Jim Crow is not a myth, no matter how much you want drink your post-racial koolaid, and it's not going away anytime soon, especially with priviledged white folks seeing black protests as crazy, ignorant, or whatever racial dog-whistle you want to label it.

Yall can play make-believe and think this doesn't have potential to start a real revolution, an Occupy 2.0 if you will.

I hope it does start a revolution, but I don't think it'll be what you think it is. Most people part of the movement don't even know what they're protesting for. I've seen too many who are protesting their own agenda and coat tailing off of the issues you just posted.

But, I'm just an outsider looking in. My take on this is that it's easy to get these people organized to march, and half of them won't even vote when the issue comes up in the legal system, and the whole thing is going to collapse and go the wayside. What did Occupy Wallstreet really accomplish other than awareness? Isn't the issue behind OWS still an issue that hasn't been completely corrected yet?
