They will. This is part of what the National Guard is all about. Helping to put down civil unrest when the police cannot get the job done. Been this way since the 60s. However if this gets bad like the Kent State Shootings of 1970, it will very quickly turn into a bigger national crisis. Kent State Shootings didn't have this new age dynamic of social media that we now have.

Yeah, unfortunately they will and they won't even feel bad about forcibly subduing them. It will be interesting to see how this escalates from here. Riots in dozens of cities and towns across the nation much like the LA riots caused? Doubtful, but the social media presence will certainly ensure that it does get worse before it gets better.
