Some are scared as we saw just a few moments ago with an officer pointing his rifle at a journalist's face.

I like how journalists are required to be "credentialed", but the police don't need to wear name tags or badges.

That's not what I am suggesting, but the journalists are armed with cameras, live feeds, many have corporate backing. Why is there nothing coming down on the police telling them to leave the media alone? What changed that allows cops to hide behind riot gear, no identification, pointing guns wherever they please and demand compliance regardless of Press affiliation?

There was a guy from the NAACP on MSNBC earlier who basically said that as he was coming into the area today, he was stopped by police and treated very disrespectfully until they realized he was from the NAACP. I can only imagine what they would be doing if the media weren't there.
