No, were not inferring anything wrong. You're looking to blaming the cops when they handled the situation correctly.

Yes. I am clearly screaming that they should be put on trial for murder right after the guy that shot Mike Brown because I asked why cops have nothing better available to stop a person with a piece of technology invented before civilization than a bunch of bullets during a time that their armoury is stocked to the brim with nonlethal weaponry.
Set Phasers to stun.
For those who are caught-up completely with all the related Ferguson stories, one of my favorite hip hop writers is going HAM all day against the silence or lack of factual discussion about the hip hop culture and black communities.

Make sure that you can list albums that address social issues going back to the past 15 years at least. If you can't? DON'T. WRITE. SHIT.

I've seen journalists write dumb shit like "Why won't Hip-Hop speak on Ferguson?". WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN? WHO DO YOU FOLLOW? FUTURE? MIGOS?

I don't need to read SHIT about "Why doesn't Hip-Hop care?". WHY DON'T YOU CARE ENOUGH TO DIFFERENTIATE BETWEEN AN ENTIRE CULTURE & A GENRE?
I will speak from my own training and experience on the knife shooting, and there are too many things to try and quote.
- You always meet the individual or threat head on, you don't do it sitting down inside a car. It is a very great way to meet a early grave as a officer.
- Non-Lethal? I have OC spray, and a ASP. Both require I get up close and personal with the individual armed with a knife, huge no-no. There is a 21 foot "rule" for officers to follow in situations like this.
- Explains the 21 foot rule, its made in the 70's I believe but it should get the point across.
- Go pick up stab resistant gear? Those only work to cover vital organs, if a knife wielding person wanted to kill me with a knife he would still be able to with that gear on.
- My stab resistant gear is 20 mins away, even by lights and siren.
video sums that shit up pretty nice and proper.
I shouldn't have watched the video (of the shooting, not jmc's video), but I did. Officers didn't have much choice, he was too close to give them any options but to stop him. What I don't get is why so many are concerned with them cuffing him while he was dead. Right before they cuffed him you could see him moving, so how does anyone but the officers know that he was actually dead when they cuffed him? I'm sure he died shortly after, but he was definitely moving up to that point.
Remember that time someone in Florida was high on Bath Salts and took a couple bullets that he more or less ignored?
why not shoot the knife out of his hand making sure to hit the blade and not his hand so that you don't injure him?
Duh, just shoot him once and then run away. Like a deer, he will slowly succumb to blood loss and you can track him like Rambo.
Talib Kweli vs Don Lemon fighting hard for his CNN masters
You guys are both stupid. Clearly they should have shot the 5-year old grandson going for his lollipop.
