From what I have come to understand, these sorts of interactions aren't unusual. We don't have audio, so we can't make any real judgment.

What I'm tired of is people making the judgment that he assaulted a man and a cop based off what they've heard in the news and not off of evidence.

I just had someone argue with me right now that the eyewitness testimony in the background that said "ah he rushed da cop and got shot" is so much more reliable than the others who said otherwise, simply because it agrees with the cop.

You're going in circles here. You don't have audio of what happened in the store for the alleged robbery, yet you're not going to make judgement off of video that looks like Michael Brown is assaulting someone despite evidence that supports at least assault. Yet, you're taking peoples eye-witness accounts for truth when very valid questions have been asked that can easily punch holes in this supposed eye-witness account, yet Darren Wilson is automatically guilty of murdering Michael brown without video or reliable forensics to prove otherwise.

Aren't you somewhat guilty of getting caught up in the news trap as well?

On that note:

Unless someone witnessed the "robbery" in the store, the store owner had to have called it in. Report didn't mention a complainant. Might have to agree with some of the theory that the store owner simply did not give a shit about the incident. It happens all the time. People call in things then decide not to press charges or decline to file a report. Now that I think about it, the "report" of the "robbery" looked like an All Points Bulletin or an Intel Brief you throw on the wall for FYI purposes.

It's clearly character assassination, though. Unless the investigation has clearly identified a subject as the focus of the act, that person in that video is an Un-Sub. Don't care who he compares to or how much his likeness is to the supposed "suspect", he's unknown until he is proven guilty.

But there are multiple eye-witness accounts that all coming forward a week and a half after the incident, and these people claim to have never met each other before!! This is better than the recording, taken moments after the shooting, of someone saying Brown charged the cop. Because you know, these are all people who claim to have never met each other, and they only came forward a week and a half later, and there are multiple, so they have to all be right.

Were all these "random people" just partying up on the 2900 block of Canfield Drive? Cause I'd like to think that the only people who would have heard the initial gunshot, and gotten to their windows fast enough to catch the rest of the incident would be neighbors of the area.

Hopefully, the cops took statements immediately and didn't pussyfoot around with getting it all down on paper. That's currently a hurdle they're trying to sort out, as most statements made now are contradicting some of the finer details of the initial statements.

Nevertheless, it's small bullshit like that that a defense lawyer is going to rip apart. Darren Wilson has been bankrolled by the hive mind and his supporters. He'll likely have a great lawyer who will punch through a lot of these "statements". Hopefully, the homicide and FBI investigation will work to seal those little gaps and make a good case.

They didn't even bother. None of the standard procedures were followed and the Ferguson police department needs to be called-out for trying to cover-up a murder. All we can hope for is that the mountain of evidence can convince a bunch of jurors of the simple fact that Mike Brown did not deserve to die and Darren Wilson should never be able to walk those streets again.

This is giving me flashbacks to college and the OJ trial. People are basing their belief of what happened due to their own skin color, not on any scarce facts about the case. No matter the outcome, I'm afraid it is going to be years of "cover-up/conspiracy" or he was railroaded to make people happy.

1-she said she saw the police officer attempting to place Brown in the rear seat of a squad car.
She then observed the teen, hands in the air, attempt to flee. Several shots were fired at Brown as he ran, Crenshaw said, striking him in the head and chest.

2-Dorian Johnson said he was walking with Brown in the middle of the street when a police car pulled up. The officer told the teens to use the sidewalk, according to Johnson.
After an exchange of words, the officer shot Brown even after he raised his hands in the air, Johnson said.

3-The officer tried to leave his vehicle just before the shooting on Saturday afternoon, but Brown pushed him back into the car, “where he physically assaulted the police officer” and struggled over the officer’s weapon, Belmar said.
