Jilted lover calls out ex-girlfriend indie developer and says that she cheated on him with multiple people, including her married boss and an ex-RPS and now-kotaku writer who had covered her in the media a number of times. When anything regarding her comes up, it is suspiciously taken down due to DMCA or other copyright claims in a way that seems largely related to the "issue at hand". A large number of people lost their shit enough that Kotaku EIC addresses it on twitter. Indie big shots are livid and firing back at everyone in a way that is making it just escalate (is it misogyny, is it anyone's business, blah blah blah).

There's way more to it than that but I dont feel like writing more about it or editorializing.

Phil Fish is an indie big shot and known for popping off on social media in response to his fanbase which he has deemed as ugly trolls (and then some). Again there's more to it than that (in terms of accusations from the other side). If you have brennan/akanei on facebook he posted a status recently with a video that goes off the rails at some point but brings up phil fish within context of this...whatever it is.

Any big board like reddit and 4chan that tries to post about it gets a mass deletion(there's 1 topic on /r/pcgaming atm that hasn't suffered much yet), any videos are deleted within minutes, the amount of white knighting and covering up going on in regards to this is hilarious

I think they forget exactly how crazy those types of sites get the minute you try to cover shit up, the topics that are making it thru are covered in pictures detailing whats going on, imgur has LOADS of stuff on this already, it seems to be hurting more than helping. Like there's a picture of her contacting a /r/gaming admin over twitter to get his email to talk privately, and then the auto deletions in that subreddit started. How is she expecting this to that gonna play out once this settles down

One has a not doxxing rule. The second doxxing happened they started deleting it all. The other is filled with shitposting and the discussion is technically not about videogames. It's not white knighting and it is not covering up. At the end of the day who gives a shit?
