Which one Krandor, the one Rata linked? I am trying to line everything up ahead of time and have it all shipped to me in time.

Yeah the one he linked.
I got the http://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Memory...ref=pd_cp_pc_0
Kinda pissed to find it $1 cheaper today >.>
I got it because I saw it listed as a guaranteed to work brand for 3ds somewhere. And it was cheapest with 5 star reviews and top seller status. You will want to get a class 10 card though. They have the fasted read speeds.
stfu crying for 1$
I'm gonna wait for the inevitable XenoChronicles X New 3DS
I should probably wait, but I'm too easily smitten with new hardware. I know will want one of the inevitable new colors.
New 3ds XL MM pre order got cancelled by bestbuy and they gave me $50 store credit for cancelling. Bastards. If you ordered from them be sure to check your email.
Well Gamestop seems to be going the opposite route in a sense, as they got some more MM stock last week for a second and seems like they got more MH stock today. Both of sold out again, but it is at least a bit more positive news than Best Buy... for now.
Will the New 3ds support WII U remote play?
This is a french article but i'll translate
http://www.nintendo-master.com/xtnew..._la_wii_u_.htm
It didn't take us long after we got the New 3ds ambassador edition for people to open it and see what's inside and made some interesting discoveries. It seems that inside the New 3ds and the New 3DS XL has a video Decoder for the H264. And it's the same format that the WII U uses to send the picture to the Gamepad. So we are thinking that it will be possible in the future that nintendo could release a 'remote play' type freature that let us use the New 3ds or New 3ds XL as a WII U streamer.
So nothing special at the moment but never know
H.264 is not some magical format that that is exclusive to Nintendo. Damn near anything with a screen has support for that codec.
And seriously, the 3DS has the resolution of a potato, who would want to even try remote play on it.
That is true that it's not new, or exclusive, but at least it's still an improvement
CRYSTAL CHRONICLES RERELEASE CONFIRMED.
Or not, but man. One can hope.
Can the coding be used to work in the reverse direction? Like DS to console + tv?
Depends if the new 3DS has an h264 encoding chip in it as well (unlikely), since I highly doubt the extra processing and ram it has over a normal 3ds is enough to do it all in software.
That said, blowing up 400x240 to an HDTV sounds worse to me than downscaling 720p to 400x240.
True, just was thinking about the "Fusion" deal Nintendo had a while back. They like to fiddle with concepts and ideas in a current gen during R&D for the next gen. Wondering if they intend to use it as an extra gamepad or a way to project to a TV a la Super Game Boy. Still kind of interesting they included it.
