my screen protector came in from amazon today. first thing i notice is the bend that the packaging is stuck with. I can forgive that, np it will stay flat. but then i notice i big FIN ding in the middle of the package that penetrated all the way to the center of the GD protector which will be permenent.

Been doing my due diligence and kicked around a few tires asking around for MH4U 3DS's. Unfortunately no luck. Best ray of hope I got was 1 of the 6 gamestops I called said they might get a few in 2 weeks, which I know is just them blowing smoke up my ass hoping I'd cave and just buy a standard one. Still camping the website, no change so far. Don't exactly have my hopes up either.

Best thing to do is check the Gamespot website every little bit. Seems like they will open it up for a few more sales after a bunch of cancellations. But then again they keep getting sold back up in under 10-20 minutes. Thats how i got my MH4U this morning when they came back up for like 5 minutes. But then again it seems like gamespot was holding back to open some stuff up for release days orders. That's how the Majora Mask N3DS and Collectors bundle showed up

3D actually being usable now is pretty sweet. I could never stand it with the original models but it seems to work almost perfectly with the new model.

Was just able to pick up a new 3ds on gamestop's website, though shipped only (so cost an extra 8 bucks). Was told that I can apply my trade-ins towards through the new 3ds if I get in there before it ships (which it probably won't until Monday)

As far as system transfers they told me I could technically call nintendo and have my account suspended, but I don't have any digital games, and don't rly have many street pass stuff anyways. The only thing that'd change is my friend code tbh. I had a 3ds xl in the past with a lot of stuff since I took it to school with me before I graduated, but my friend completely broke that one and the I didn't make him buy me a replacement till months and months later when smash bros came out.

So if it's too much of a hassle I'll start from scratch (going to 2 anime conventions in March anyways, so I can rack up street passes there. My friend got 500 last con she went to and Sakuracon is one of the biggest in the country)

Heh that's where a majority of my streetpasses come from, nycc and sgc when I went for the past year plus. Unfortunately I'm too invested in my puzzle swap and find mii to just start from scratch. Seriously that shit's like crack, it gets addicting.

Yea I know I got pretty far into them on my first xl. Then I just stopped caring when I had to start from scratch, but honestly one weekend at the anime convention and I'll get as far or further than I was on my first 3ds, so I'll start again then (especially since I'm going to 2 cons in April, and one in June, possibly one in July)

I'll report back when mine ships from Amazon in a few weeks but I wouldn't bet on it. Even though it's super thin, I've never had luck with using a charging dock with any system cases. lol
