They should just put out that transparent 3DSXL they teased ~4 years ago last year as a 20th anniversary of the original "Play it Loud" Gameboys...

New 3DS XL limited edition July 15

Monster Hunter Generations has been dated. Capcom will be bringing the Nintendo 3DS game to North America on July 15, 2016. It will be accompanied by a Monster Hunter Generations New Nintendo 3DS XL.

The Monster Hunter Generations New Nintendo 3DS XL is a blue system. A light blue, black and white logo with icons representing the game’s Fated Four monsters appears on the lid. The system will be sold separately from the game for $199.99.

Monster Hunter Generations has four Hunting Styles, Hunter Art abilities to use, 20 hunting locations, and offline and online multiplayer cooperative play for up to four people. People will be able to try the game before they buy it, as a demo will appear in the Nintendo 3DS eShop in summer 2016.

I miss my old translucent gameboys, especially that frost gameboy advanced. I swear, gba got the most love out of me with the colors and variations to the units, although DS lite always had that sleek black that I miss so much.

So I can't seem to find a clear answer, but I'd like to buy a 3DS or 2DS with a capture card, but own a 2DS with Pokemon X preinstalled on it. Can you transfer preinstalled games to a new system?

Animal Crossing New Leaf to support amiibo

Scanning an amiibo card in the game will summon that character to your village, giving you the opportunity of to have them move in. Definitely a feature many fans have been asking for! -

Also announced are new outfits and items based on Splatoon and what appears to be two new squirrel characters resembling Callie and Marie – famously known as the Squid Sisters. It’s currently unknown how these new characters will be unlocked in the game, but it would make sense that the Squid Sisters amiibo would do the trick.

I'm more and more certain that the NX will contain some mobile component, because Nintendo is in full on "transition mode" that they normally enter between portable generation cycles, where everything they do is new skins and shell redesigns a la gameboy micro.

Wow wtf is up with that 90s design... also why not a non XL version? I'm sure some people would appreciate that.
