I'm only upset in that SE hasn't really enforced their own terms of service for like the past 5 years. Now all of a sudden they're laying down the hammer for clipping through their dumb time sink? It's really pretty stupid. I didn't ask for his commentary anyways. Just reporting in and for what.

I don't really care. I didn't come here to start a back and forth. Again just to report that it happened and for what. Could have lied like everyone else. I obviously value my time more than my account and I always will. What's interesting is your backwards mentality. We pay their bills. I don't have to feel lucky or gracious for anything. They should feel lucky they took my money for so long. Over 2k by my estimation. I have 0 intention of funding them in the future. Their loss, not mine. It could have been anything you did at all during this billing cycle. And the fact you admit to have clipper means youve probably done some other stuff in the past month too.

Nah I just got an LM17 couple weeks ago. It was the only thing I used it for. And yes i've highly misbehaved in the past. For years in fact. I was using way better 3rd party than Clipper just said that since everyone would know what it means.

Clearly you don't value your time much since you just threw away 11 years of work (or however long you've played) for 5 minutes of waiting for a rock to go down. You tossed everything down the drain for the sake of convenience. If you valued your time you would either not play the game at all in the first place or play legitimately so your time doesn't suddenly become meaningless and wasted

weren't you literally just bashing draylo for being obsessed with the game? then you go on a tirade about how getting banned = the loss of 11 years of work? nice way to view a game by the way, as purely a work enviroment and not a source of enjoyment. but that's how most people would view a game ran by SE.

Well, I personally have been dutifully trying to avoid doing anything but adding meaningful commentary.

I'd like to draw everyone's attention to the screening effect that is potentially at play here. Specifically, we might just be seeing more bannings given the spark of the exploits in Salvage II and our continued interest in the subject. For this reason, we might just be "seeing more bans" because we're actually looking right now.

That was an excuse back in January and February when these bans came out of nowhere...its no longer an excuse today because everyone should know by now that SE is keeping a watchful eye.

Except that its completely inconsistent and nobody knows what system is really at play or what gets you to the shit list. Aren't the past few pages of this thread about exactly that? I have a poorly accomplished alt that jumps around zones, clippers and generally just cheats it's ass off and not so much as a warning yet. And really if you cut off a long standing source of revenue for a little bit of clipper, you're the retard, not me.

I know a lot of people started farming gears over and over again after they saw people only get temps for farming bosses. Same exact cheat but the ones who got less out of it got perma'd. I kind of feel sorry for them because of the night and day difference between basically the same thing just a few weeks apart. But by now it should be highly apparent that any sort of thing that breaks game dynamics if they notice it you will get perma'd no warnings. And a high chance of it just be looking somewhat suspicious without actually doing anything

I agree that anyone still cheating NOW is dumb or doesn't care about their account but if you used clipper for 5 years it's kinda hard to give up on it for some people.
