How does it scan a character that isn't logged in? If I don't log in my mule for a few days, the last scanned date falls behind.

I dunno but I could swear I read way back (like 6+ years ago) that sono or some admin created it as a way to move a lot of the pointless shit posts into one place so people could be as vile etc. as they wanted hoping to encourage a lot of it staying off of the rest of the site proper. I can't speak to what it's turned into today as I haven't been there in many many years.

Edit: Basically, what I'm saying is, if that is indeed the reason for it's original existence, which is what I was lead to believe, it basically created a home for some of the more vile people in the game rather than most other sites which would just ban them. I do understand there was some self-policing by regulars there back in the day, but regardless, BG has never been interested in banning people who exploit, hack or otherwise screw with the game unless it got REALLY shady.

It doesn't scan your character, it scans the linkshell community link you provided. One of my accounts banned 5 years ago says:
