So you have been banned over 100 times and have not been banned for using programs in any of those 100 times? You also spent $500 on account licenses too? If that is true than this story is just weird and ridiculous. Not that being banned 100 times isn't stupid enough as that already is.

no, i have been banned for botting several times. my linkshell was the first to test maury's packet bot and we all got banned for that. that was probably the first one that i can remember.

i was saying i have not gotten banned in this most recent wave and i still am using programs

Yeah I can't see any other reason to continually buy licenses. Hell only reason I'm still playing is they only hit my least useful least geared and job leveled account.

And yeah from reading other reports it sounds like detectability isn't the issue but more general things like possibly just time spent doing stuff. Hell I've seen plenty of people mess with less advanced bots but pulling something with an aga or aggro and then leading that mob around to lead the player around and pretty sure nothing happened

pretty sure they are monitoring CP botting and salvage exploitation, have't really heard of people getting banned for anything else.

They wont change Alex despite people having used 3rd party tools and exploits to generate 5-30x (when you could repop HQ boss) more alex than expected

They didn't fix Alex after all that huge mess, do you really see them adjusting CP because of people who botted? :D
I mean they *COULD* fix CP, and I think they WILL do something to CP, step by step, small tweak after small tweak (they already started after all). I was just saying that imho they will totally not do special fixes BECAUSE of people who botted CP.

To be fair they did change alex, it was 50k needed at first and they made salvage soloable now

I have 2 friends that got tempt banned when salvage II got patched.

1 proceeded to move onto salvage 1 - He just told me he was in this current wave of perma bans

1 stopped after the temp ban and decided to live off the gil he made (which last I remember he had about 600m leftover after doing his relics) - His account hasn't been touched since

got confirmation of a 1 strike perma for botting this morning, sorry to whomever i doubted earlier in the thread.

wasn't botting CP/sparks or doing salvage either.

not sure what SE is doing/why they are trying to send a message but it's probably a game killer for 3rd party program users if they keep it up

Details man!!! Like what were they botting? Never had any warnings at all? Did they get tell or box or just band out of nowhere? Do they clip?

As far as 3rd pt use... the inconsistency is odd even for SE. Wonder if it's just a GM or 2 with sticks up their asses. Or how much hate you have to get reported. Or something like doing the same task for more than so many hours/not enough variety in what you do. Or movement speed etc.
