Guess SE is still banning people. One of my mules got suspended in the last big ban wave and I haven't logged on it for more than five minutes since then. When I went to log on it today it was permanently banned so I guess they don't believe in second chances anymore. Thanks, SE.

Temp ban > paid for the next month > log on 5 minutes > permaban?

Sounds about right, waiting until your sub was due then banning.

yeah, i had a few other ones temped too but they're all fine. i was going to continue playing despite my main getting banned but now i'm seriously really unmotivated. oh well, another -$50/mo for SE. get bent

Suspension was about two weeks ago, I last logged on the mule maybe 5 days ago? So somewhere between then and now.

idk, I never did anything on it other than leech skirmish stones to trade to my main. He got suspended for clipper 2 weeks ago and then I never used it again.

From this info, I'll need to watch the plateauing trends on XIAH again...and possibly correct posts on other threads.

Indeed. Hence the reason I've gotta go back to the drawing board. I'd declared a while back on other threads that the bans ended. However, I fear you may be correct about an automaton taking over for GM's. Again, I sincerely hope that's not the case because I fear more incidents like Ramzii's may become common. Like I said though, I'll start watching the stats again--and as always, I'll keep everyone posted.

Because there was a stable interval (d(chars)/dt ≈ 0, at ~129,000 on FFXIAH DB) before March 19 announcement for about two months. Things started dropping again after the announcement (expected) and now have begun to sit quietly again. That's why I claimed the bans and the announcement casualties were over.

you shouldn't be basing anything off of ffxiah database, especially since i'm pretty sure the timeline for being active when it counts "Active characters" is a high month amount.

either way the data is completely skewed and in no way an indicator or anything except a rough guess on how many characters have accessed the auction house in the last x months

Like I said, I'm not judging numbers, I'm judging the rate of changes. That skewing has remained constant for years since the dead servers have closed as far as I can tell. If that is wrong, then you are correct. Also these amounts don't update per month. They update more frequently, but any character that disappears for any such reason will remain as "active" until one month expires until they've last used the AH. The amount of ~119,000 has been there for about a month now, so based on this I would say the bans have ceased.

Yes, the way SE is going as soon as you pay to re-subscribe you will get banned then they will laugh cause they got your money and you cannot play. Good old SE at their finest.

Idk, it counts active players like myself and my mules inactive when I don't use the AH forever because I don't need shit off the AH. Sure the casuals are lumped in there too.

there have been tons of people that have posted they have been banned within the last month.. that number not changing should not indicate that they were done with bans.

if anything based off what you're saying it would imply they stopped banning a month ago, which is also not true. either way i don't think you really understand what you're saying/trying to figure out
