After ~150 keys notable items were RUN Oboro, Warder of Prudence cape, glowing VW dagger, Odin II polearm, some Zi'Tah gear, 119 skirmish v1 gear, King Arthro UNM pants, Triska Scythe, and Expertise Ring (not anything special just didn't expect it to be possible).

Well the time you trade is 100% part of the randomization formula used to decide which item you get, but there are many other factors at play I'm sure, so I think it's just a cool coincidence.

Pretty sure all RNG in FFXI is from a time-based seed (on the server) which is why people sometimes /random the exact same numbers at the same time so it would make sense that they'd get the same item
