Suggestion for ESPN points next year: Reduce the value of goalie saves. Goalies are way too OP.

Goalies are fine. They have way more points per game but only get 55 or so starts. They'll even out with top skaters soon.

Even with less starts, they pull way more points. Remove Varlomov, Ovechkin and Crosby from the mix, and they average 100-150 more points/season. I mean, whatever. We'll just continue to draft every starting goalie first round anyways, so who cares. Lowering save points by .1 is around 170~ less points per goalie, per year. That seems reasonable to even things out.

If you want to make skaters the focus, lower wins and shutouts more, and reduce the penalty for losses as well (I think).

Saves should be the "meat" of a goalie, as its the most individual stat for them. I don't like reducing the value of that.
