Breg WTF!
Breg WTF!
Thank you to whoever dropped #1 COP in ESPN
Eliminated in Yahoo due largely to swept goalie categories off triple shutouts, now have my 40+ point ESPN lead erased due to double shutouts on a night where there's only 3 games in the NHL. Unreal how much luck plays into fantasy sports.
I mean, the fact that the 5th and 7th seeded teams in ESPN are in the Championship, and a team that lost 1 game in the last 17 weeks, just happened to lose in the first round of the playoffs, shows fantasy playoffs are pure luck.
Playoffs whether fantasy or real have always had a lot of luck going into it. How often has the perceived best team gotten eliminated early? Not about who has the best players, it's who has the hottest players.
If I had remembered to set my players on Monday, I'd have a slight lead on my consolation race...At least I've caught up to a degree.
335.2-333.7
Good freaking game Bregor, very close week
C'mon Ben Scrivens, my entire season depends on you!
...I'm fucked.
Man he was like the musical goalie, I had him for a little while when Rinne was injured and I know there were at least a few others who had him this season.
In H2H I mean, obviously.
Welp, I almost took over third place in Roto with just goalie points for the last two weeks haha. Really need to manage my roster better next time.
Just looking at the standings in ESPN and with everyone's names on all the teams, even if I didn't put Aksannyi in all of my team names, everyone would know who I was anyway.
blah, 2+ A, STP or DEF and I would have taken Roto, so fucking close... Worst thing is I sat Carlson by accident last week when he picked up 3A and I didn't play Benn on his 3A night this week either because I thought Crosby vs BUF would be a better matchup.
Would have also been nice if my goalies weren't fucking retarded every night I played them and wound up getting shit all points in gaa/sv%. Tied for 2nd in SOs but worst in GAA/SV%, I mean what in the fuck.
Hopefully more people play Roto next year, I think it's fun and it's about the entire season, instead of just being lucky in the playoffs after beasting all year.
Grats on Roto and ESPN points wins Breg
