For as volatile as the kicker position is, he more then warranted getting cut.

Moreso when you consider Prater and Feely are on the market.

He had a bad game, sure. I don't think that's enough evidence to conclude he sucks and you can find someone better off the street. I think there's a chance he doesn't get cut if they win, but they need a scapegoat.

He was terrible on the Eagles. For a guy who set college records for accuracy as well as rookie NFL records, he's gotten something into his head and he won't be able to make a career until he gets it straight.

Also he's dreadful at getting touchbacks. Historic dreadful.

Like I said before, the one he's in trouble for beating calls him Daddy Peterson. Yeah, it sucks ass that the kid got beat, and AD needs to get his mind right when it comes to discipline. Martin Gramatica is the big example. Dude did shit in college that we'd flip our shit over if an nfl player did (65 yarder to end a half his senior year), and was a seriously meaningful part of that Tampa defensive team being one of the best ever...

Then he missed a dumb one early the season after the super bowl, and something changed mentally, and he was never the same again. Overnight he went from an all-time great to never able to hold a job again.

I mean, really though. 1/6th of his kids are dead, saying they'd be worse off with other fathers is not exactly well supported by the evidence, I'm pretty sure more than 5/6ths of American children live to see their 12th birthday.
