We'll see how they do vs Carolina on Friday.
They have this tendency to skate harder against teams with talent, and then coast vs "easy" teams, not keeping in mind that to most other teams, THEY'RE the easy team.

Caps outplayed them all night, by far. Just no bounces went our way and EDM cashed in on the few mistakes the Caps made. Offensive zone penalty? PPG. Ovie whifs on a shot? Breakaway goal. It didn't help that Ovie floated about until the third period and had a shit game. Scrivens stole that win and I wouldn't expect him to keep that up.

why? caps did really well and lost by 1 goal, sometimes puck luck'll get ya. they outshot them by a big margin and kept the oilers shots relatively low.

the last thing i want is another line shufflingmess of a team like under oates. changing every day does so much more harm than good

Hawks and Preds are the last two teams in the NHL without a regulation loss; kind of a pointless "crown" but I'd love to be the last team standing with a regulation W tonight.
