    Its more than just temporary removal from hate list until next action, but its not a full reset either.

    Frailty+Torpor+Entrust Haste or Fury, COR is fine too.

    I should point out that Ramuh could be the hardest avatar to beat without the EA+Scherzo trick. Thunderspark does 1,2-1,8k + Paralyze with Shell V/EA (can up to almost 4k without buffs), has 30' range and Ramuh can spam it.

    [21:39:23]The Luopan takes 1590 points of damage.
    [21:39:23]Skudo takes 1026 points of damage.

    We had not thought about having both EA and Scherzo yet so we used the height difference to avoid Thunderspark but Ramuh was moving after each Judgment Bolt (it seems to be a normal hate reset or my Garuda wouldn't take the hate with the first Predator Claw after Provoke/Flash). Our PLD died on a combo Stun spell > Chaotic Strike too. It was one of our first VD fights, I don't think it would be difficult to win again now but I was a bit surprised by Thunderspark, the Paralyze is annoying too although not very potent.
    VD avatars have "only" 170-180k HP.

    Probably just a matter of my whm mule never getting enough thru the fight to put it over whatever my pld had. Either way it's fairly easy to get back

    Regarding procs:

    Blue procs are made by JAs, and they pretty consistently get rid of avatar -dt if they have it. For some reason this doesn't work on titan. Red (WS) seems to get rid of some amount of meva with each proc. Yellow (magic) I'm not sure, possibly physical evasion. All values are reset when they use Astral Flow moves. I can get 3 yellow, 2 red, and 1 blue proc between AFs; after that, they seem to not trigger anymore until after AF is used.

    White procs I believe are made by summoners only (only time I saw white was when I had a smn friend with me). No idea what they do.None of them seem to affect drops in any way.

    All tested across many many fights on Difficult setting as pld/run + rdm/sch.

    But the effects end up being mostly irrelevant because the fights are stupid.

    I was looking through the job abilities resources just now to answer a GearSwap question and found this:
    Code:
        [668] = {id=668,en="Deconstruction",ja="ディコンストラクション",element=7,icon_id=23,mp_cost=0,prefix="/pet",range=2,recast_id=0,targets=32,tp_cost=0,type="BloodPactRage"},
        [669] = {id=669,en="Chronoshift",ja="クロノシフト",element=7,icon_id=23,mp_cost=0,prefix="/pet",range=2,recast_id=0,targets=32,tp_cost=0,type="BloodPactRage"},
    669 is the move that Atomos uses when he's summoned. 668 is, afaik, not available in game and new.

    Doesn't he use one ability to absorb the mob's buffs, and another to give it to players?

    Yup, Deconstruction eats the buff and Chronoshift pukes it out all over the PT

Also, the "buff" to the puppets above level 100 did nothing as far as I can tell. In the typical battle I might parse 35% of the damage while muppet still only parses 0.9% lol, even with KKK aftermath activated, on something like a D battle.

    Lately I've gotten so frustrated at being killed early in every battle I eventually just change to GEO and make it easier on everyone...

    I just wish SE would either buff puppets to either be able to hit and do damage OR make them solid at taking hits so that can stand around long enough to hit once in awhile. Instead they are both paper weak and completely ineffective, even at 119 with KKK aftermath up and 3 maneuvers up.

    I'm fairly certain some people did D AAMR with the only real dmg being 3 muppets before the accuracy boost update. So it's certainly possible to get their dmg up though not as much as a buffed DD

    I can confirm that this isn't the case. During a Titan Prime fight, an Automaton (PLD frame) used the WS "Bone Crusher" and proc'd White !! right near the start of the fight. There were 2 SMNs in the group though, but they hadn't used any blood pacts yet before the Automaton's WS went off and landed White !!

    So... pet abilities only? Blood Pacts, Automaton JA/WS... maybe BST pets or Wyverns too? Anyone learn anything new since Yeager's post?

    I don't think so. That first Titan Prime fight we did (all pet job fight) we saw multiple White !! procs. Sadly, other than the first White !! I saw (since I know what proc'd it) all the other White !! I saw, I don't know what caused them, as we were all pulled back away from Titan to avoid Earthen Fury. It may be safe to assume they were SMN Bloodpacts (they were all using Garuda, Wind Blade & Predator Claws) and we also had a BST in the party using the new Slug pet.

    IIRC setup was BST, PUP x2, SMN x2, COR 97

    Do the new Avatar fights moves go through shadows, making /NIN useless?
    I'm bored of going with a PLD+RNGs setup, was trying to create a DD setup with at least one RUN to see if I can make it effective but if /NIN is useless I'm afraid it's the physical damage that's going to hurt on VD
