I like that fem Aura have a nice ponytail, and the 2nd face/horns is nice. What I am having trouble with is that the eyes look kind of... dull. Like almost stoner Dunesfolk dull.

Still on the fence about switching races. Probably won't. I can't even change my char's hair without reverting it 3 days later.

Male Au Ra feels like a real afterthought based on the above derpfaces. I don't really have a problem with female. Facepaint going over the face scales is also kind of janky but who uses face paint anyways right?

Given that I haven't used a Fantasia yet and the heavens ward CE will bring me up to 4 unused, I'll be switching to give F AuRa a chance. Whether I stay as one I dunno since I love my mithra. The fact the horns are tied to the face blows my mind, they really fucked that one up since there is only 1 good F face.. Maybe 2

This is entirely the reason I will be switching to AuRa Females. Really wish they would just let all races/genders be able to share all races/gender hairstyles. This exclusive cosmetic crap is really unnecessary and doesn't add anything more than annoyance to an already pretty limited character customization model.

Literally every female race/tribe gets the new ponytail. Males get the topknot instead.

Wasn't specifically about the ponytail/twintails but just in general, unless they changed something and added the race exclusive hairstyles as general all race options already in which case disregard my comments, I'm just dumb.

Yeah, over the course of the 2.x series they've been moving hairstyles across races, and in some cases even genders. Brand new hairstyles have been added to all races at once.

I wish they let us use the FF13 hairstyles, but I could understand why not given those who missed the boat on the event. Also I wish they let us do more with the horns.
