Yeah launch is gonna be fucked for a few days at least. Also I've been seeing over the last couple of months alot of really famous streamers on twitch who dont normally play ff14 reactivated their accounts to catch up with the story.

The advantage on XI, is that it was rarely the whole game, like when WOG came out, most maints were mostly just for WOG zones, so i'm kinda hoping the same for XIV.
But my hopes are futile
It probably will mostly be the new zones (and anyone in them when they shit themselves).
Unlock the new jobs and gtfo son.
Anybody who thinks "Oh they've totally had experience with new game launches and stuff so this shouldn't' be too bad!" are straight up delusional.
Early access is gonna be a little gameplay here and there with mostly downtime up until launch, then it'll repeat itself for a few more days. Let's be real about it. I hope it's not, but yeah. Not expecting anything different than 2.0
2.0 servers at launch was the equivalent of trying to shove a pumpkin through a straw, if you got in you never logged out because you knew the horrors that awaited you if you did. I imagine they'll bring back the auto disconnect feature if you're afk for too long again for a few months.
You know everyone is gonna have the doctor's note ready for their job come early access.
I can't take vacation days for EA. For some reason, there are no slots available for anyone to take vacation days that week. I think it is a good thing. I won't waste my vacation days on crashed servers. Though I really want to >.>
Will see the return of auto log out that won't so much because who can't find a to glich that lol.
Uhhhh.
I recall Gilgamesh crashing from Odin way back when.
And, server crash or not. If too many people are online from what the server can handle, prepare to not be able to play from long queues and queues crashing.
I have to wait to log into Behemoth right now and most people are on hiatus until 3.0. HW will be a huge cluster fuck for the populated servers.
Yeah...I would but I enjoy the money I make..especially when you have a significant other that actually loves to cook and bake..that shit gets surprisingly expensive.
(and you fat)
I always secretly hope people end up complaining towards SE that they got fired or missed a paycheck because they dared to release an expansion pack.
Yeah, Early Access is simply a stress test and SE's master plan to get you to pay more than you should for an expansion pack. So while they're rolling around in their 300% profit, you'll be slammin your head against a desk trying to log in for the next 2 weeks.
I have my vacations from June 22 to July 10 so will have some fun ( can't go on a trip anyway need to work on the house) soooooo
Log on early and never log off, cause getting back on may be impossible.
Doesn't stop zoning into a 90000 fuck you surprise.
I am actually quite surprised people here care for "Early Access", because endgame won't happen for 4 weeks after launch (or lolcasualendgame 2 weeks after launch). Of course, this is based on the assumption that you can do the MSQ in a week or 2 (casually even), like 2.0's MSQ to be able to enter the endgame raid. So EA and the first 2 weeks of Heavensward: not a single fuck is given imo.
I think generic hype about new jobs, exploration and expansion buzz is alone worth trying Early Access. Considering Yoshida's lofty 'this will be fucking huge' speak with regards to zones and scenario things.
Rushing the endgame to complain about shitty drops isn't most peoples cup of tea.
