It'll probably turn into a tabbed list with separate tabs for dungeons, trials, PvP, etc.

Or they could just make the duty list the way is was during fucking beta and let us choose whether to display shit or not.
I wonder if i should buy some healing gear lv 30 and 40 for Astro (in case lolpricejumps)
FATEs and Dungeon spam - There will be the handful of quests on the side. Basically take 2.0 and swap out the 2 with 3.
It irks me because they removed the ability to hide quests and such and it's definitely not a "PS3 limitation" like people on the OF keep trying to state.
If you want, but you'll be spamming Brayflox and such anyway, so..your decision lol. Only thing I bought were stacks of purple materia, stack of parry and 2 stacks of piety IV.
It's not like any crafter couldn't just churn out that gear ad infinitum if they wanted to anyway.
Aside your usual opportunity to jump to the defense of Yoshida and XIV, not all dungeons are always related to the overarching story of the current patch. Take for example Darkhold, Aurum Vale, Pharos Sirius, Lost City of Amdapor etc, while there's lore to it, the main story never exactly takes you through them and the side dungeons, early on at least as they got easier over time (AK/WP HM for example), used to be on the more tougher side, which people would rather do the shorter and more easier ones to spam thus making them much more lucrative. Take for example almost no one wants to do AV even though it's a good source of exp (even beyond first room.)
Then again you must be on a server exempt from what the usual population in this game does. So there's a good chance only 1-2 non story ones will be worth spamming. This isn't like 2.x where it's mostly for tomes. That usually changes what people would want to do when it comes to dungeon spam.
I'm not jumping on Yoshi dick or defending XIV, I'm seriously wondering why you would say something so hilariously stupid? Are you just mad because not all content Yoshi creates are considered equal? Are you mad that people find the most efficient course of action and stick with it?
What does any of this have to do with story dungeons being worth less (as in not as much) than non-story dungeons? You say I'm taking my opportunity to defend Yoshi when you're taking opportunities to slate him for actual stupid reasons. What's the deal here? Are roulette's no longer a thing? Is the concept of leveling another job or helping a friend impossible? Hell, what if he just randomly makes you do stuff in these dungeons (like...he already has?) What if there is no ideal dungeon run and you have to tackle each in order to get to 60 in the best way?
I mean there's so much I can say about this I'm getting a little giddy, so I'll probably let you figure out what's wrong.
Pretty sure he was trying to say dungeons that aren't part of the story are less frequently done.
I don't understand the argument at all tho, people will unlock every dungeon to have roulette access and whatever is in EX roulette is what will get spammed, exactly the way it's been ever since they implemented roulette and fixed it to only be accessible when you unlock everything.
MSQ/optional has fuck all to do with it.
It's pretty random to remove it, but I don't sweat it too much. They removed the UI option to select 5 specific current quests so they are prioritized on your on screen list as well, then re-added it later. They may do the same in this case.

As for dungeons I'm pretty sure at least 5/6 or all dungeons will be story related, and with subsequent patches will add more and more side dungeons for purposes of post 3.0 story/new relic/seal farming/etc, just as they've done for 2.0. To say that most dungeons won't be story related at this point can be seen as silly -- 2.0 and 3.0 are different, 2.0 simply re-purposed many of the dungeons left over from 1.0 and added more that had direct ties to the MSQ. 3.0 is an entirely new story, so to have few dungeons that are tied to the MSQ would be silly. Regardless, there will be dungeons tied to the MSQ and optional dungeons with nothing to do with it. People will unlock them all for various purposes not related to the MSQ.
I have an unused PC heavensward Pre-order code. Since I have the steam version of the game apparently I am not eligible to enter the code. However, I do have the PS4 version of the game as well registered to the account. If anyone has an extra PS4 code and wants to give it, or wants to trade it for my PC version I am all game as I am sitting on a wasted code atm. . .
This does not impact your actual registration code it is completely independent from it as well.
I put this in WTT as well. I figure someone pre-ordering the PS4 copy and the PC copy if they want both may have an extra one and may be willing to trade or give it :<
I believe you should be able to apply the code to the ps4. It will ask u which platfrom when u enter the initial 18digit code at the early access site. Unless you already did that and got the new 20 digit for pc, then yea, you'll need to trade off.
