nice.
nice.
So any info or thoughts on how enochain works into a rotation? In my head it would be like (Leylines) precast thun 3(?) sharpcast Fire1, use proc, enochain, x amount of reps of FireIV+Ice extension( do you need to keep astral III up?)...then what? At this point do you just go back into normal fire 1 rotation until it is up again?
I think you'll be refreshing Enochian either 2 or 3 times depending on the situation. After that it probably won't be worth it and you'll do maybe one "2.0 rotation" while you wait for the recast to be back up.
The live stream indicated that Leylines has a 30 second duration and 90 second recast so you want to have that 30 seconds be during the highest damage output. You obviously want to maximise Fire IVs while it's up so it may be better to use it after your fire proc along with Raging Strikes when available. Most good groups will have a pull timer anyway so that your Thunder III goes off right as the tank pulls.
With Enochain there's going to be a point where extending it doesn't give enough time to be worth switching to Umbral phase. Since it knocks 5 seconds off the duration each time (first being 30, then 25, 20 etc) will it be worth switching if your extension is only 10 seconds? There's also going to be a rotation without any Fire IVs because it's a 2 minute recast and even the most optimal of 30+25+20+15+10+5 only gives 1 minute 45 of Enochain and that kind of optimal isn't going to happen.
I figure by the time I get to 60 someone will have already calculated the best rotation and optimal skill usage.
No one compiles info like the Monarch up there. Praise be to his spotted fur mantle.
Damn that google doc is nice.

Everyone's going to be far too busy being disappointed that they can't actually fly their FC airships to care about that.
Worth noting that F4/B4 seem to have a 3s casting time based on the new skills video.
I really hope the amount of SS we can acquire make at least 2 FIV's easy to do. Otherwise the rotation sounds a little clunky.
Swiftcast F4 might also be living the dream in there somewhere. There's definitely going to be a lot of figuring out how many F4s you can fit into the first 30s Enochian. I wouldn't be surprised to see as much as 7. If you could get Sharpcast up beforehand, can use it on that refresher F1, use the FS proc, weave in Swiftcast for that next F4, weave in something else. There's a lot of wiggle room and I'm very curious to see what will be the best.
Like I'm theorycrafting now that depending on time you might dip into UI3, but use F3 right away just to get 1-2 more F4s, THEN swap to UI3 again to actually do B4. But no idea if that sounds optimal.
You might need to consider rotations in Leylines and out of it, but I agree generally rotations seems like they've gotten more clunky.
And let's not forget about Thunder/Fire procs... What to do, will they be worth casting, and using precious Enochian time plus delaying the next Fire IV?
Edit: Ooooh! Flags!
