so i bought the PC version on steam, added the windows license via mog station, and cashed in my preorder code. mog station isn't accepting the early access (RTxx) code, however. any ideas?

didn't they say bundled steam versions of the game aren't eligible for early access? From the notes for early access "Early access is not available for the FINAL FANTASY XIV Online all-in-one bundle." So if you have that, you probably can't do early access...

nope, i deliberately got them separately (ARR key + PC 3.0 expansion preorder) precisely to avoid the no-early-access thing for the combo pack.

If you got your actual expansion code, you will likely need that on launch day.

The VE****-***-******-*** looking code was used to obtain your early access code for the proper system (https://preorder.na.finalfantasyxiv.com/).

The 20 digit code (RT** **** **** **** ****) there was the early access code you needed to actually register it to an account (Mog Station).

What's this "other code"?

It's 15 digits (3 sets of 5) and is labelled 'Final-Fantasy-XIV-Heavensward-EU-Cd-Key-Digital-Download' from the site I bought from.

They sent through that plus the 20 digit early access code that went straight into mog station.

CD Key makes me think it will be your actual HW code for after the game launches officially

Do EU Keys work the same way? I bought one on G2A and they're claiming the early access key is the same key as the real one and that you just re-register it which I don’t think is the case. . .
