Flare potency won't decrease per *cast*, it will decrease for each mob in addition to the 1st for *every* cast. BLMs have every right to be hacked off imo.

Hello, guessing at this:

Alexander Normal is required for Hard mode
Four areas
Story is somewhat related to the elezen people, but there are new characters
Normal mode intended for everyone

The Lustrate change might actually be for the best. Lustrate was pretty shitty on anyone other than tanks... a 600 potency spell is going to heal more than 25% (2500 on a i170 mage considering the HP values we've seen). Can't use it in Cleric Stance though.

2 advantage on lustrates that can now be considered a nerf

1) the cleric stance status
2) The Effect that made normals heals, heal for less (like Twintania or 3 ramuh stack)

The original game is only 14.8gb. 4.8gb is reasonable.

Not really, they claim that the game is bigger then 2.0 and one lodestone (i'll have to find it) I think they said somehwere EXP is 20gig

the 4.4 GB patch is possibly "the stuff" for people without expansion to see some of the 3.0 stuff (classes/spell updates/changes etc) not actual 3.0 stuff yet

They were talking about general land mass. There's no way an expansion will be larger than the core game. Some folks finished the 4.4gb update and were prompted with the usual server under maint msg.

excited about Dx11 but i hope nvidia release a better drivers to fix g sync in windowed mode, having 40-50FPS less than full screen is so extreme.
