Which is why I said the middle of May was the earliest anyone could reasonably expect. I don't know how anyone could possibly think April is reasonable when we're three weeks away and still don't even have 2.5 Part 2's release date.

Hoping for an unrealistic date is one thing, expecting it is entirely another. If you were expecting anything before the middle of May, you're dumb and set yourself up for disappointment.

Edit: All that new AF looked like what they originally teased way back in 2.1. MNK/DRG/BRD look the most similar to the original concept art.

Let's be real though - If they didn't work on the mac version and didn't split up 2.5 "to not overwhelm us" it would have been out In March - May, they've been saying for the last year every resources went towards Heavensward which is why they're not doing "a lot" for current 2.x updates. It's like back in 1.x when they kept saying "Everything is going towards 2.0." They even said in presentation it was going to be out a fair bit before june, but they want to "polish" it.

Take housing stuff for example, they said there's nothing they can do until after the expansion due to development team focus on it. so I get what you mean but..realistically, spring releases are almost always March - May, very rarely do you see "spring" as June/July xD.
