With some of the boss characters in Heavensward, you actually can’t fight them using your older skills — they might require you to know new skills that are only available after the level cap has been raised.

I'd say I like it if only because it's simple.

A lot of the gear sets suffer from real overdesign issues.

Ninja kinda were generic. Blend in, obtain information, assassinate if that's a last resort, and GTFO. I rather like this dressed-down nin more than the "HEY EVERYONE LOOK AT ME I'M PARTICIPATING DIRECTLY IN OPEN COMBAT" Ninja heavy chainmail look.

^ Its why I loved many of the MSQ and ninja quests once they came out. You had them dressing up as farmers, peasants and beach-goers, feigning ignorance just like they would have in reality. I realize that nin AF is iconic and we're always gonna look like that, but I'd kill for a bhuddist monk or peasant outfit (with conical hat!) for nin to get that "I'm whatever I need to be" vibe.
